I found your DeClue channel about a year or two ago, left mad cause you werent fitting the commentary I was getting from the rad trad dissenters and the SSPX channels. I must say I was getting negative and uncharitable. I even walked outta mass once and not recieve the eucharist at all just because the mass had a tambourine. I felt a disgust at what apparently to me, was a grieve abuse liturgically. I had bitten the redtrad bait and it was starting to seep into my worldview of the church. Even though I still have more "traddy" characteristics about me I've gotten better thanks to your videos and as well as The Logos Project channel. I stopped qualifying my Catholicism and returned to basics: Sacraments, holy scripture and praying. Im just a blue collar layman. No theologian or academic. Church politics is not for me. My faith and the faith is bigger than one bishop or one pope or one funky Mass. Keep steering the church in the right direction Dr. DeClue! Keep at it! We need more orthodox men to keep us on the straight and narrow path.
@@halleylujah247 I seem to struggle back n forth. I need to stay off youtube and just focus on the faith. Right now, the whole thing is "pre-counciliar" catholicism. Like thats the NEW thing and if youre not with it then you dont know the real deal. It even affects the books I get. Like oh oh this is post VII, should I buy it. The church and her magisterium know more than me and holy mother church wont give me stones when I need bread. Its been a struggle.
if God and the individual human Personare not someone’s highest ideal then that person is effectively promising to sacrifice the individual in the name of that supposedly higher ideal. The logic is simple and undeniable.
