Seems a reasonable gun, noticed when you put it on the tripod the barrel seemed to move and point of impact changed so wonder if it wasn't bedding/sealing correctly.
    Another enjoyable watch.

hello andy .low shots can be done by your way of trowing the gun at the rest , breakbarrels can to open a little , lay the gun on the side and roll it up , and close it at the same force shot after shot

The lock is it a steel ball or the like hw rifles as on the ball breach there is a little play banging it down will not help and the banging down if it moves then the prob will become bent and then you have problems not for me and just there is better rifles out.

Looks like a decent rifle. If anyone is looking for a multi shot break barrel with iron sights I'd highly recommend the Milbro Hunt Master MK2. The guys at the gun store didn't want to order it in but once they saw/heard me shooting it on their range they had to have a go and couldn't believe it was sub 12 ft. The cocking is quite hard but it packs a punch. Was hitting metal targets at 30m standing up with just the iron sights. I have the gamo multi shot but it's no where near as good. Would recommend having a look. Also it's 12 shot and took 25 gr slug easily as well as H & N hornets. They sell the rifle as a umarex emerge in the states or a Snowpeak sr1000x in Europe.

Morning Andy I think it might be a lot more accurate if it was shot off a bag with your hand under the stock as it was bouncing a bit on the rest you were using which is not really suited to spring guns.

@@PiperX1X Yes and then, when you are an acknowledged " not a springer shooter" that thought, perhaps, didn't come to mind while shooting.
I was thinking more along the lines of slightly knocking the barrel downwards as well as jarring that cheap scope.

Would there be a tendency to lose count and dry fire an eleventh shot and could this cause harm, or does the gas ram make a dry fire irrelevant? 🤔

Years ago I has an ASI Paratrooper rifle. It srored about 20 pellets in a spring loaded tube on top of the cylinder. When the barrel was broken, a breech block popped up and the spring pushed a pellet into it. When the barrel was closed it pushed the breech block back down with the pellet. I could get through a hundred pellets in no time just plinking!

I had a Gamo with the same system, wooden stock, when I was a kid, back in the early 80's in Spain.

I have the Crosman mag fire diamondback and it uses the same type of magazing system. One thing to through out there is the rear sight interfeers with seeing what number pellet your on. This will take longer to load than a regular break barrel. The only benefit I can see is if when hunting you wanted to take several shots before the bunnies ran away. An underlever might be a good idea though as it would be less fiddly and less likely to chop off your finger tips.

Whats the farthest range in yards you usually fire your airguns? Id like to see how you do with that rifle at 70-80yd from the bench or even offhand.

Its pure nostalgia in this day n age to use a single shot, like taking a bow and arrow to a uzi fight lol.
Co2 is my preference, 20 shots a mag, six at the least in a revolver.
But personal choice is what makes the world go round vive la difference.
I'm 66 and loved air rifles as a young lad but now I've discovered co2 in the last 2 years, I'd only have a single shot springer as a wall mounted memory.
I once had a Webley Hawke interchangable barrels 177 & 22 loved it but now l would step straight over it to get to a co2 multi shot. 😂

The rifle is cheap so I understand its limitations. I have a break barrel myself. But It rather defeats the object if you have to break the barrel for every shot. If you could do it 10 times then shoot 10 times, that would be useful. The loading of the pellets is really not a big deal.

If your resting the forends, stop using your pcp rest and get a bean bag, even then I'd put my palm on the bean bag and the forend on my palm. Even if you don't use your left hand the bean bag will allow your rifle to recoil as it wants!

Morning Andy and viewers of the channel. I'm currently looking for a nice rifle for pest control with a budget of £500. It will be my first rifle. Can anyone advise on what would be good for the job and my budget? Thank you in advance 😊

You will struggle to get a full pcp kit for £500 to include scope, gun & means to re fill the gun. Andy did a review of a gamo kit some time ago for just over £500. If you go springer route agree weirauch 99 with a hawke scope to fit your budget.

HW97K or a HW77K second hand and look up artillery hold if you get a springer

Sir question,,, How to decock an semi auto or magazined pcp/airgun without detaching the magazine..
And how to cock it with loaded barrel with magazine..
Indo pcp does have that feature.

we all know your not a springer shooter but for us that are, a single shot break barrel rifle is mine and 99% of springer choice over a multi shot break barrel - we are traditionalist

I can’t believe how you slammed that rifle down on the rest after each time you reloaded it I am surprised you got the grouping that you had maybe if you had treated the gun with a little more respect you would’ve got a better group

That barrel shroud is vomit inducing .

Everything behind the breech looks really nice, everything forward of it looking like some oversized, ugly blob of plastic. I feel that the looks of that part of it are to please the American market, heavily influenced by Gamo. If it had a regular unshrouded barrel I think it would look so much better and I'd think about buying it, but not the way it is.

What's the point of having a ugly plastic shroud fitted ? There's virtually no noise suppression anyway ! I would have preferred to have seen an optional silencer fitted. Chunky pointless shrouds on a springer as good as this is wrong !

I would never touch a Crossman Nitro piston ever again after buying their first iteration. Complete waste of money even for a starter.
    Enough said.

I'd be tempted if it weren't for that ridiculous lump of plastic on the end of the barrel. Why do these companies seem to always do this on budget guns??? Just stop it!

Not for the experienced air rifle shooter. For a beginner, make it sound cool and look cool. Multi shot is a gimmick in not designed well and at a price to reflect it. On a budget rifle, that's a red flag.
