    I appreciate someone in the hobby taking any time whatsoever to get info out and talk about their recordings. Take it at your own pace. Thank you so much

    Beautiful, bountiful tanks!!!!
    Online I see vendors selling Alder Cones, Tourmaline Mineral Balls and all kinds of leaves (Catappa, guava, mulberry, walnut and a host of others beside Indian Almond). What's your thoughts/experiences on these? Also, what do you use to keep your plants in the substrate, and do you ever vacuum the substrate?

    • @SooShrimpBreeders
      @SooShrimpBreeders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't keep any of that stuff and I do ok. Not saying they don't help. I just can't afford to stock tanks with things I feel they don't really "need"

    Mind talking moss? I had moss, but it came off of the logs and steel mesh I had it on. And it didn't really bloom. Frogbit grew very well though. I thought even Java Moss grew quickly and easily even in lower light...

    • @blammer
      @blammer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is there an issue with temperature? Moss tends to do better in cooler temps

    • @medusianAllure
      @medusianAllure 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blammer how much cooler? The water usually is around 75.

    • @SooShrimpBreeders
      @SooShrimpBreeders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My moss is dying off and i think it's due to not enough water changes and nutrients and getting taken up by my floaters

    • @medusianAllure
      @medusianAllure 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aaaaah, that may be why. I haven't really added plant nutrients really and I have a lot of floaters.

    strange question but how do you transport shrimps and the tanks?

    • @SooShrimpBreeders
      @SooShrimpBreeders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will drain the water move the tank fill up the tanks let them settle over night with filters. Shrimp will be in buckets for a day....they will be fine

    Hi am really enjoying ur vids an uv encouraged me to get back into fish keeping again. I used to have cherry shrimp long time ago. I have been offered the chance of both black and red crystal shrimps. But am just not sure of all the products out there wots sutable for them for such as Bacter AE , Shrimp Mineral GH/KH +. The crystals have been raised on tap water

    • @SooShrimpBreeders
      @SooShrimpBreeders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your tap works then it works. Live plants and filters. Maybe some shrimp salts to even out parameters.
