Absolutely amazing!!! Jenna as Katara pulls on my heartstrings - her voice is so soft and sweet and reminds me how Katara is so young and yet so brave and strong. Romelo as Zuko is simply. incredible. My jaw DROPPED during his verse, he has an breathtaking way of interweaving passion and emotion into his vocals and I can't get enough of his voice. 😍 I love the line "We must survive till the Avatar arrives" and how the opening song gives a powerful welcome to the world of Avatar the Last Airbender and intro to the key characters and their perspectives. I also want to lift praise to the ensemble! The harmonies and adlibs of the Fire Nation soldiers and Kyoshi Warriors brought out my inner fangirl and I audibly squealed while listening to the opening song for the first time with my friends. I want to thank Lilicoe, Katherine, Joshua and Jasmine for their hard work, dedication, and creative artistry to create these incredible songs and give a (musical) rebirth to this beloved show that means so much to many of us. I wish you all bright futures deserving of your gifts. 💕
Everytime Katara said Bender, I thought of the Futurama character. And while I really like a lot of the songs (especially back home, balance and find you) I can understand why the project ended here.
I want this more than the live action, it sucks you can’t continue but this is beautiful work!!! I loved every second of it and will definitely be coming back to listen often 😅

So we march for our land with our destiny's in hand. Marching on till this endless war is won. I practically scream when I heard that. I love Toph's part, it really did sound like her VA. And it really showed her struggles with her parents in that one part. And Suki's was so amazing, I mean the writing was incredibly done. And Katara's part really showed who she was, and when she said "Your water bender" talking to her mom, I simply passed away. I love the refrance to Balance. 10/10

when you think about it, its kinda dark and grim when they say "so we must survive till the avatar arrives" because they go to war probably knowing that the avatar won't be there to save them
I was sad to hear this series was discontinued. But when I got the TH-cam recap this year and saw this on the list I can only be thankful you brought this to us. Balance, Fight like a Girl, Friend or Foe. Those big scores all have a place in my heart along with the first couple minutes of this opening. The chorus is something that sticks tight to you. I really hope you grow heaps and get to make a grand theatrical production on a real stage. You've got the writers, musicians and the voices :D

I feel like this is two different songs, like the first one is the Prince of Egypt grandiose opening banger at 0:00 and the second one at 4:00 is the establishing song for Katara's current status quo, but it's also doubling as her "I want song". The second one seems to be the lead up to finding Aang in the iceberg. I like them both a lot, the first part is my favorite though. Though, I will say I feel like Katara feels a bit too... Disney princess in her 'I want song'. The lyrics do a great job of showing us the longing to do and be more, which is true to her character who just wants to help people; Though I do think she would be better suited as an alto instead of the Disney sugary sweet soprano voice. I noticed there is a lot of head of voice being used along with a strained sound and I think she would be better suited as an alto instead of the Disney sugary sweet soprano voice. I'm not a voice teacher, but there seems to be this tension in her voice in the middle and near the end of the song *shrug* I dunno, it might be the notes... The song might need to be keyed down an octave... I don't know, this is just my critique, I'm hoping that this isn't coming off rude, I love your work and you, along with everyone involved are amazingly talented. Please don't send the pitchforks and Sozin's comet on me 🙏🙏🙏
