I would have put the Kwan somewhere on my list in the top 5. It has been the most consistent producer on grass beds here in Florida’s Panhandle. It catches reds, bluefish, speck trout, pompano, flounder and the whole gamut of bait stealers.

In the northeast I've caught just about everything that swims fresh and salt on a clouser. It's the easiest fly to tie and using different weights can be used in just about any depth water and current even with floating line.

Same here! I tie tons of little spin offs of clousers

Adam, your top 6 is also my top 6. But I have 0 fly fishing experience. But they look good.
On another note I love the logo. Whoever designed that crushed it!

Several classic patterns there. However regionally consistent producing flies across the world's fisheries would enthrall Me. Thanks for opening the door to a great subject for dialogue. Bonjour de Nouvelle Orleans, Louisiana /USA mes amis partout !

I live in San Diego, CA. and use some of those same flies for croaker, mullet and corvina. Great video, thanks.

If you are fishing for a large mouth bass, you need to adapt your patterns to the Bend Back style or learn to tie wire guards. Never use mono loops, they hook on structure and you have to break them off.

I guess that everyone has there top 6 , because it depends on their targeted species, they may fish a certain fly that copies the fish’s feeding pattern such as a crazy Charlie for bonefish or a deceiver for poons , I myself am parcel to bait fish patterns, I like EP bait fish, one favorite is Cliff Nigh’s thunder struck bait fish pattern made in different sizes and colors , or Carl Hanson’s crystal minnow, or surf candy works well , but I’m all for trying those you chose , who knows maybe I’ll find a new favorite 👍🏼🤔
