I assisted Ms Eden many times at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills. She was as sweet as you can imagine. Her fav lipstick was Estée Lauder Cinema Pink. Oh Lordy when the company discontinued the color I saved as many as I could. She bought them all.

I believe I was 26 years old when I had the opportunity to see Ms. Eden in person. It was at the GLADD awards of 1986 in Hollywood, and there were so many celebrities there that night. I sat across from Elizabeth Montgomery and her husband Robert Foxworth. All of the Golden Girls gave speeches, along with so many others. But, it was Barbara Eden that took everyone's breath away when she came across the stage. She wore a sky-blue sequin gown. It was no wonder that she was a movie star. It might sound weird to some of you, but she was PERFECTLY beautiful. She was facially symmetrical -- a balance. I've always remembered that about her. A naturally striking beauty inside and out. I haven't been around any celebrities since that time, but Barbara's beauty literarily pushed me back in my seat that evening in 1986. God Bless, Barbara! I'm 62 years old now. And let me tell you, they don't make them like Barbara Eden anymore.
