Barbara Eden has always been beautiful. She has even aged gracefully beautiful. This is someone who has not been addicted, or tried to look younger or gone overboard on cosmetic procedures. She will always be the beloved Jeannie🧿
Barbara the Beautiful One. Warm, honest, girlish, kind, sexy, fine, fun-loving and a wonderful actress and entertainer, which I have enjoyed all of my life. Barbara has been consistent in show biz and a sole survivor. What makes her so great woman is she's a lady and has a great attitude. When she played Jeannie on 'I Dream of Jeannie,' she broke the mold. There could never be another, who can play that role as superbly as Mrs. Eden, did.
Miss Eden was essentially just starting out in Hollywood in the late 50s and was able to land a role on "I Love Lucy" in an episode called "The Country Club Dance". She admitted that coming to Hollywood she had very low self-esteem but after being in this episode Lucille Ball took her aside and told her that she was wonderful and talented and encouraged her to keep working hard. She said this compliment and the encouragement made all the difference in her outlook and career.
I met Barbara in Cherry Hill,New Jerseys place called ''Irv Morrows Hideaway'' I was playing in a band, and she signed one of our band cards.and I have that mounted in a frame with her photo..One of my cherished items.
I had the privilege of seeing Barbara Eden and Soupy Sales together, at the John Wayne theater at Knott's Berry Farm. I was serving in the US Marine Corps at the time, and stationed at MCAS El Toro, Santa Ana. The two of them put on a very good show and I enjoyed it very much. Barbara's beauty is timeless.
My cousin was stationed in El Toro. They lived in base housing and we lived in Anaheim! Drove that route more times than I can count. I worked in Irvine for a long time. Many moons ago.
Truly a class act. Saw Barbara in Nite Club Confidential with Gary Sandy in the 90's. She has a fantastic singing voice live and really knows how to connect with the audience.
Barbara Eden was "THAT " girl back in the day. The Andy Griffith episode where she worked at the Barbershop as a manicurist showed me just how beautiful she was. This is a pretty lady.
When we first got to Canada, and after about a month or so, we got our first TV. First show we saw come on was I Dream of Jeanie! 😲❤️. Never seen such a beautiful woman in my life! (All of 3yrs old. 😂). Barbara has aged like fine wine. 👏🏻❤️
How much fun would it be to sit down over Coffee with Barbara and just listen to her talk. She worked with all the greats. Barbara if your listening, Coffee is on me.
“Nature's been good to you. I mean real, real, real good. I-I can't remember when I've seen nature spend as much time on any one person.” - Andy Griffith
Not only is Barbara beautiful outside but also inside as interviews have shown. And the true picture of this is displayed in her relationships with women. She has had opportunities to make relationship mistakes with other actors and she handles everything well. What an inspiration
I'm 64 ever since I first watched i dream of Jeannie in the early 70s I've always had a crush on Barbara her personality is amazing and she is beautiful beyond belief one of the most beautiful women ever love to you Barbara ❤🥰x
I'm a happily married man of nearly 42 years. But, I think if I ever had a chance to meet Barbara, I would just stand there like a moron with my jaw hanging down. She's that lovely.
@@jeffreylindley845 Get a load of her in the 1985 TV movie I Still Dream of Jeannie 15 Years Later! She had the most beautiful stomach on a woman that I ever saw! Her harem pants were several inches below her belly button.😊
She’s truly ageless I met her in 1975 she was touring with Bob Hope She had this glow around her like an angel 😇 I was so in awe of her and she was exactly how you can imagine She was authentic kind and sweet and when she spoke to you she meant every word
I never knew Barbara had such a big body of work, she just makes you wanta give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek because she is so amazing and beautiful in and out. The generations of today will never see a woman like her.
Barbara Eden! An ICON ABOVE AND BEYOND THE VERY BEST! Your Aura Beams a Real and True Light and Love of your profession and of your life itself! You made me smile today! Lots of love, Christian
In the interview, Miss Eden refers to the play "Love Letters" with Hal Linden. Amazingly, they were still touring in the play in 2019 when they were both 88! They were born the same year -- 1931. This interview was conducted when she was in her mid-70's.
Barbara is a stunningly lovely lady. After listening to this video I believe though her most attractive feature is her laugh. So enjoyed her recollections.
Its hard to believe that Barbara Eden is currently 90 plus. Her's was a life that was well lived, that's why the ravages of time don't show on her face. She's had some profound losses in her time, like the untimely death of her only son. Still she rose like the phoenix and soldiered on to a great career that has made her a legend of her time. While fans the world over love her as Jeanne, I'm still a huge fan of her portrayal as Loco Jones in the hit TV series "How to marry a millionaire" [1958-60] in which she starred with Lori Nelson, Merry Anders and Lisa Gaye.
I can't think of another woman who has been as beautiful as Barbara, for as long as Barbara has been beautiful. And she seems like a delightful person. Would love to meet her.
So pleased that I ran across this. Jeannie was a sex symbol to many of us (males...), regardless of Barbara's perspective. A surprisingly thoughtful person, besides one with physical gifts.
I was wondering that as well, if she had, it must have been very very minimal. For the most part she looks to me that she's simply one of those rare, naturally gorgeous females who were born with the genetic background that are able to produce gorgeous thoroughbred girls!❤❤❤❤❤❤
She played a minor character in the original theatrical Sci-Fi movie 1961 release that the TV series was based on - "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea"- but she wasn't in the TV series.
Really nice woman whom i had the good fortune of waiting on at a tennis shoppe in Chicago back in the late 70's, between college semesters. Somehow, we decided to have coffee at a corner diner on the Mag Mile, and as we were walking to the diner, 2 guys literally came running across Michigan Ave., against traffic, to offer to escort us...actually HER ,across the street. Michigan ave is quite wide with alot of foot and road traffic. How they spotted her thru the congestion could have only been her aura. She glowed! I remember what she was wearing, denim head to toe. Very attractive, pretty, petite figure and so,so personable. She was very comfortable to wait on and have coffee with despite her fame. I believe she was scheduled to appear in London that fall and i was going over there for a semester so maybe this is what prompted the coffee thing. It was a nice encounter. Memorable.

As a boy, I had never seen anything as beautiful as Jeannie 🥰
I still haven't...
Growing up with genie was truly a treat, thanks Barbara!
Barbara is So lovely, timeless, endearing, delightful.
I feel good about her.
Barbara Eden is one of America's national treasures. So genuine and thoughtful.

This interview is from 2000. 24 yrs ago. But she still has undying beauty to this day. Such a charming woman. ❤️
She started touring in Love Letters in late 2006 which she mentions in the interview so could not have been 2000. Another comment cites the year 2008.
She is just stunning!!! Just beautiful!!! She is s great actress.... All our love, Barbara!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️....

I agree. Totally a class act. I wish it was longer!!! Love her stories. God bless you, Barbara Eden.
An icon and gave us a clear look at true beauty.
Love her quick and thoroughly engaging laugh!💕. I had no idea Barbara had such an extensive career-kudos to an amazing woman and actress!
Barbara Eden, what a gem! Beautiful, sincere and talented. I love her.
Barbara is an incredible lady in every sense of the word. Impossible not to love her ❤
Still gorgeous and beautiful after all those years.
She is, but this was recorded about 15-20 years ago.
I can't believe how good she looked in the Harper Valley PTA movie in her 50s. She still looked just like her Jeannie days.

She is such a beautiful woman, but her personality truly shines!
This woman is out of this world. She has not aged and has all of her mind. Hollywood didn't take its toll on her. God bless you Barbara.

Lovely interview. I accidentally met her on a trip to South America and she was very humble and genuine.
Barbara has the rare genes in her blood that appear to keep her gorgeously perfect as she grows older. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think this was from years ago
Maybe she is a genie ehh?
@@sl4983 She's 76 at the time of this interview. Unbelievable but true.
