From a Saffa - nice chat. Seems like Rassie is one of the best things that has happened for pundits (both for and against his character and wily ways). He provides lots of talking points and it's always fascinating to hear about how he is perceived, assessed, dissected and rated by non-Saffas. Im honestly confused by the comment saying Rassie hates the Irish. I mean...the man coached Munster, when he got the call up for springboks brought with him Felix Jones. With Felix's departure, Rassie brought in Jerry Flannery. If anything theres a respect. Yes, i can understand Rassie wanting to build a rivalry, but hate? If the man hated the Irish, why employ them? Why does he keep going back for more?
I think he more means the media and potentially parts of the fan base - Zebo's a Munster man through and through and they hate the Dublin media & Leinster, so I'm sure it's tongue in cheek but there's a grain of truth in there
