Sport is the one thing that brings us all together here in South Africa. When we watched South Africa win the world cup in 1995 with our beloved Madiba, Mr Nelson Mandela, wearing the captain's number on his green shirt, I cried huge tears of joy and we danced in the streets, young, old, black, white, brown, women, men, children - all ONE nation. Sport - particularly rugby - has done this for us, and we love it!
Like your reaction, very enthusiastic. Small note coming from an absolute die hard springbok fan! My bedtime stories from my dad and mom, were rugby stories... but to say the All Black don't have the 'juice' is mental. They are our greatest rivals and the team we respect the most. They are very, very good. And my wish the is that the boks and blacks conitnue to bring out the best in each other for many, many years to come! For the rest thanks for reacting to the sport we love ❤

South Africa is many things but when we unite for the love our beautiful country we show it with great pride. This team is a microcosm of South Africa at its greatest potential. From time to time, you'll see South Africans do it in other areas of life - although we have a long journey still to travel. The man speaking is Rassie Erasmus, the Springbok coach and someone responsible for changing the landscape of SA rugby. He is giving the Boks to the people - not one portion of the population that resembled himself, but to all of us.
As a South African 🇿🇦 I tear up watching this video. From where SA comes from to head into the togetherness direction. Its just wow im just proud of my country 😭😁❤ Diverse Excellence 🇿🇦

Whenever I travel from South Africa to visit other countries I always miss home. We have a vibe and a diversity that you don't get anywhere else. I will never leave South Africa Xx
Thanks to visionaries like Madiba and Rassie who have transformed a sport into the unifier of a nation. 💚💛As a bok supporting-Saffa kiwi (who loves New Zealand)...you cannot take the bok out of you, but you have to understand there is a very healthy rivalry between the Bokke and the AB's that goes back MANY years. Without each other there wouldn't be such great rugby. And the flyover was a timing issue given the unexpected prayer for the late Maori king. SARU issued an apology for the unfortunate timing. Saffa's respect the haka tradition, it's what makes the AB's the AB's.
Look at you and your dimples aw 🤗 you must visit SA. And yes they did do that airplane and fireworks during the Haka. I was at the stadium, it was nuts! EDIT: Actually cried at the end of the video 😞 wow we are so blessed 🇿🇦 amazing
In South Africa, rugby is so important. My son has been playing since age 7... They have something they call "Bullitjies" in the Eastern Cape. Once the rugby bug bites you there. There's no going back.
Even when we won the world cup in 2019 against england me and my dad was in a small shopping centre was watching game in second hand store when the final wistle blew the place went insane
1st time when we won World Cup, the airplane flew on top of the Stadium. It is our signature against All Blacks, once thry see the airplane passing be rest assured the gonna lose the game. The guy speaking is our Springbok Coach, who gave us two World Cup.
At 4:50 that was just unfortunate timing I'm afraid. Springboks did apologise to the All Blacks as we did not intent to do that, but yeah kind of hard to time an A380
I was in the stadium when we played our unofficial anthem “Sister Bethina” during the haka… it was shocking for me too! The Kiwi’s didn’t intimidate us 🎉😂
We don't disrespect the NZ team at all! They have always been that thorn in the side we couldnt really get on top of. The jesting and *fighting* is just hard dissing, but the spirit is still about coming up against a worthy adversary. I wish posts like this didn't highlight a "wrong" committed. Its a hard game - brutal at times. It has the make-up to bring on board "hard" support. Yeah, we feel the contrairies of the South Africans who in the past were die hard fans of the kiwis. That was born out of the frustration that the Bokke were lily white. Post 1994, we have made major strides to be inclusive (we fail sometimes) but we dont fall. Viva Bokke. Viva those who came back to support their country!
