This is the link of all tools that I use for this video. it a Shopee Thailand link It a lube set it really cheap and really good for starter kit: shorturl.at/ciwD3
Really helpful video, just started building a keyboard with the Akko cream yellows, and I couldn't find a very specific video until I landed on yours! Cheers : )
I can't tell if the yellow v3 lube switches are better or sky cyan I mean they are both good when lubed but sky cyan is more silent and it already comes with the keyboard so no money was wasted except for the lube But I heard yellow v3 switches are really smooth and are nice to type on The blue switches are okay but I don't enjoy tactile and rather go linear its just a hard decision if I want to get the v3 creams or not lol I might just get the akko silvers just because of gaming too
You should lube housing and spring too because that is the a common lube steps. Anyway you don’t have to lube the Top housing of the switch it depends on you that you have enough lube or some switch make a better sound when you lube the Top housing.
is it okay to lube over a factory lubed tactile switch? i recently bought some and there are few switches that has ping sound, i want to lube it but it says the rails are factory lubed

What switch opener did you use or which one do u use for the pro versions as I am not that sure and doesn’t want to destroy them
Please put the link of the shop for all the tools/lube you use. Thank you
that's a solid video ! really helpful !
Would you recommend to use tribosys 3203/04 instead of krytox 205 for tactile switch ?
did I uderstand this correctly ? with tactiles we lube only stem part and the springs?
In lubing the cream blues, should I lube the housing and spring as well or just the stem? thanks!

@@weburus thanks for the reply! this is my first time lubing.

Hey can i lube the stabs with the krytox 205g0 instead of pertamex?
Yes, you can lube stab with Krytox 205g0.
Keycaps?
don’t lube the pole or the hole where it goes into, it can cause suction and make the switch sluggish
Yep but I use just a little bit lube that leftover from lubing other part, So it not gonna cause a suction or anything that much.
