I loved when his family came to visit, but after watching "Young Sheldon", it makes me wonder WHEN did those two get their own rooms because on YS, both Sheldon and Missy share rooms and Georgie has his own room. When I was growing up, my brothers all shared a room and my sister and I shared a room. I don't recall ever sharing a room with my brothers unless we were at my grandparents' house when we visited them, and then, we ended up sleeping wherever there was room, which sometimes meant one of my brothers slept in the room with my grandma and myself or my sister.
I like that Raj is the most "normal" of the guys in this scene. He acts like he's known her forever and isn't all googlely eyes like the other two buffoons. Just a quick greeting and a wave.
I know people point this out as a moment that doesn't go with Young Sheldon's version of events but..... remember the Cooper family lived somewhere else before they moved to Mary's old hometown. And they moved after the twins were out of second grade. So in their old house, Sheldon and Missy could have had their own rooms.
Before Young Sheldon they lived somewhere else. So they could have had separate rooms. Then when Sheldon and Missy were around 9 or 10 (so after the eye-brow incident) they moved to where they live in Young Sheldon. It has been explained in these comments before.
Or you could just take it as a small matter of oversight by Young Sheldon’s creators that caused such an incidental continuity error. I doubt that this line would have made it into the show’s bible.
Totally man. Saw this episode back then and have always been a TBBT fan. Loved Cobra Kai when it came out years alter; never made the connection until I saw this vid.
The casting team for Young Sheldon did a great job. Raegan Revord, who plays Missy on Young Sheldon, has some of the same mannerisms as this actress who plays older missy.
This is the first time Raj spoke in front of women not counting the " cut the foriegn guy in half there is a billion more where he came from" line from earlier in season 1. Although this time he was on medication. However no one remembers this time as everyone is shocked after is has a drink and talks to Penny in her apartment in a later episode. Then of course after Lucy dumps him he is able to speak to her in his apartment when he is stone cold sober. Just after Leonard goes off to the North sea at the end of season six.
OMG, I can cut the character 'Missy's faux-Texas accent with a knife. Jim Parsons (Sheldon) actually IS from Texas, born and raised, and he doesn't have the syrupy twang that Courtney Henggeler (Missy) has, who was raised in Pennsylvania. Why does Hollywood have to make Texans, or Southerners for that matter, sounds so very over-done? Just give it an accent rest.
Missy: "he was trying to build some sort of armed robot to keep me out of his room." Sheldon: "made necessary by her insistence on going into my room." ... but wait, in young sheldon didn't they both share a bedroom together?! 😂
I think it’s because the pilot picks up when they’re 9 years old making them 4th graders, when adult Missy stated it happened in 2nd grade. But I could be reaching.

Maybe that robot thing happened before Young Sheldon. I remember something about yjem having to move cause his dad lost his job
Often times twins, even if they're different sexes, share a bedroom until the awkwardness of puberty makes them decide they want to separate.
In season 1 of Young Sheldon they mention they just moved, so they probably had separate bedrooms in their previous house
"Sheldon, I'm not even gonna ask why you're pimping me out for cheese. I don't wanna know."
My favourite line from the whole series.
They never did acknowledge the lovely lady who played the part of Missy.
I like that Raj is the most "normal" of the guys in this scene. He acts like he's known her forever and isn't all googlely eyes like the other two buffoons. Just a quick greeting and a wave.
My jaw dropped when I realized that Amanda LaRusso's actress Courtney portrays Missy! I saw Young Sheldon before this so this was a surprise.
Georigie probably supplies daniel larussos tires.
1:28 can I get a hallelujah
I know people point this out as a moment that doesn't go with Young Sheldon's version of events but..... remember the Cooper family lived somewhere else before they moved to Mary's old hometown. And they moved after the twins were out of second grade. So in their old house, Sheldon and Missy could have had their own rooms.
"to keep me out of his room" ... but you guys share a room!!!???
Penny just got out-hotted.Is that even a word I don't know.
Totally agree. Missy is the hottest girl featured in TBBT
In next season Sheldon learn karate with Miagy-Do
Lol! Yes👍
He will take on Terry Silver
Thank God there's a laugh track so I don't forget to find it funny
So Missy married Daniel Larusso and get into Car Sales business. Georgie must be her tire supplier.
Young girl on young sheldon played missy perfectly. Really she portrayed mini version of adult missy
Leonard is sitting on Sheldon's spot...
I never imagine that she will end married with Ralp Macchio
When they were 8 they shared a room
Sheldon and Missy's father was described as a mostly absent non functioning alcoholic in this episode as well. Rather than jolly guy in the series.
Before Young Sheldon they lived somewhere else. So they could have had separate rooms. Then when Sheldon and Missy were around 9 or 10 (so after the eye-brow incident) they moved to where they live in Young Sheldon.
It has been explained in these comments before.
Hands up who would like to date Sheldon's sister? I would!
Andrew Montgomery hell yeah!!!
Date? No.
Shag? Yes.
iyla nice
actually, Missy is now married to 2 time all valley champion Daniel LaRusso and owns an Auto car dealership name LaRusso Auto
Wait, they just stated here that Sheldon had his own room but in Young Sheldon, Missy and Sheldon share a room.
Oh for the love of God... Young Sheldon does not encompass the entirety of Sheldon's childhood, does it?
I assume when Georgy moves out one of them gets his room.
@@r.h.3084 It doesn't but what age do you think they are in Young Sheldon?
@@JSmellerM 9 at the beginning
Or you could just take it as a small matter of oversight by Young Sheldon’s creators that caused such an incidental continuity error. I doubt that this line would have made it into the show’s bible.
Isn’t she the wife of larusso in cobra Kai? Yeah I think she is
She is. Still hot there too
Totally man. Saw this episode back then and have always been a TBBT fan. Loved Cobra Kai when it came out years alter; never made the connection until I saw this vid.
Yep that's her. Gorgeous
Missy would go on to marry a 2X All Valley Karate Champion.
The casting team for Young Sheldon did a great job. Raegan Revord, who plays Missy on Young Sheldon, has some of the same mannerisms as this actress who plays older missy.
Missy is drop dead gorgeous!
Anyone else notice Howard was sitting in Sheldons seat?
Raj was just the sweetest
Sheldon's sister is Daniel LaRusso's wife! Whoa!!!
I just want 20 minute short where Raj and Missy end up working out.
Ahahahaha Leonie is so cute when he is nervous 😂
She nailed Amanda role in cobra kai. Stay beauty my lady.
Sheldon's sister grew up and married Daniel LaRusso.
The series is rife with errors in the storylines, sadly. Really good writers keep notes of their characters and histories.
Missy: "he was trying to build some sort of armed robot to keep me out of his room."
Sheldon: "made necessary by her insistence on going into my room."
... but wait, in young sheldon didn't they both share a bedroom together?! 😂
Yep
bad writing by the young sheldon writers
humor is always helpful to get out of awkward situations.
We never even saw that whole event Missy was talking about happen on Young Sheldon
I think it’s because the pilot picks up when they’re 9 years old making them 4th graders, when adult Missy stated it happened in 2nd grade. But I could be reaching.
