mine work for 2 years before i replaced it with the cartridge style pump. the sand pump that came with it really just wasent big enough for the pool. it would have been fine on a smaller pool
Hi, i have problem with my surface skimmer, i got a new and isnt working too... basically i use my pump to clean the pool and it works very fine, but whe i attach the tube to the skimmer he just dont pull enough water inside him.... i dont know what to do... its an intex pool, intex skimmer... my pump have 3800 L/h

From the top it doesn't seem like it flows enough but it is. There's a valve on the bottom that let's more water in
Probably because your pump is too weak.
