Great instruction. I wish nail techs were required to learn new techniques. Techs I have encountered don't seem to know anything about nails having an arch.
I love that your own nails are always immaculate when you do tutorials. I've seen so many that have amazing techniques and beautiful work but I get distracted that their own nails need a fill in. It's just my own issue though. Similar to how I choose a hair stylist. I'm less likely to trust you to do my hair if you don't seem to be taking care of your own. #endrant

Celina Rydén I know what you mean. I went to school to get my licenses to be a nail tech and I've learned more watching Tammy's videos then I did from when I went to school. Her products are awesome.
The pink being used on her hand is gorgeous I have never had a nail tech take the time and patience to do the beginning sanitation you did also I've never had them squeeze the c curve before wherever I go.
I remember back in 1986 or so, I had gotten my cosmetology license in 1981 in Michigan, gotten married and moved to California in 1985. I had to go back to school because the hours needed for a license was higher in Cali than in Michigan so I enrolled in a brush-up course at a local Palm Desert cosmetology school, got my hours and decided to take the manicuring class as well because I was really more into nails at the time than doing hair. I discovered Back Scratcher Nails first, a fiber glass, glue and hardener system, used long tips with them and they were very sturdy, which I loved. Then a Tammy Taylor rep came out to do a demo and teaching session. I, too, LOVE long nails and this acrylic system held up great, I used it on myself and clients. I would always use tips and acrylic, never have liked forms. Today there are so many different, new acrylic systems, gel systems, new Polygel but it's nice to see that Tammy Taylor is still going strong! My first and favorite brand! I still prefer tips and acrylic over anything else but have started trying out gel. I'm retired now due to health problems but my nails always look great! This video was wonderful, I love the shape of the nails, and that is so true, flat nails look fat. I always go for a more elongated look, it's flattering on anyone. Watching this video today brought back a ton of great memories, thank you Tammy Taylor!

Must get thru aload of primer keep dabbing it on the towel I wipe mine off on the bottle when ever I put forms on all five fingers they move before I get to that finger I have to form finger by finger
