I love your videos, great work. You are putting your quick link chain clips on backwards. The closed end should be pointed the direction of chain travel for safety.

It doesn't matter what direction you install the clip.

@@charlesmansplaining Not for function, but it certainly does for safety. If the open end is pointed in the direction of travel and it hits or rubs an object while moving, the clip can be pushed off. I'd say that matters. Sounds to me like you don't know your most basic bicycle maintenance.

For that seat post rust/ rust anywhere, fold up some aluminum foil into a 2in square and dip it in some coke cola. Then scrub the rust. Or white vinegar instead of coke works too

Just for anyone thinking of switching to fixed, don't ride brakeless without foot retention.

For anyone who doesn't know what Hamish Forbes is talking about: foot retention is having straps on your pedals. So you foot doesn't slip off the pedal when your trying to stop your bike by drifting. Hope I said that right...

Technically you don’t need foot retentions 🤷🏽‍♂️ I been riding since I was 13 and had them off and on during the years and found them good and bad in certain situations. I think personally if you’re gonna ride fixed gear bikes learn to fixie skid and learn how to bail off the bike if needed.
