@@Janx14 I doubt Impulse's build able to fit Nuclear or Fusion upgrade in it, unless they completely ditch the separate parts systems (which I didn't know about, If they did, won't Impulse practically just a Strike with homing backpack?) I always think Impulse in a very awkward position after early SEED DESTINY, it was innovating, but it has a dangerously low limitation thanks to it's build in battery system, it has superb arsenal but also limit by backpack design, it's jack of all trade, but requires time to be viable every time. Unless Luna use this MS like how Shinn used it to finish off first MS Freedom, it'll always remain as a support/side kick role.

I love the colors of the Sword Spec II. It's now more personalized to Luna's favorite colors. Bandai should have made that the RG instead of the Force, cuz there's no difference with the Force Spec II and the Original Spec, other than the former having duller colors, which can sometimes not make a difference, especially with lighting/shading.

you can tell by the fact that Impulse lacks the 360° cockpit like the rest of the male cast piloted units due to the fact that it's a retrofit of the existing unit like the Destiny Spec II does Edit : even the Destiny Spec II gets shit tonne of QoL upgrades on top of newest technologies under the hood thanks for being nuclear powered to start with

I’ll just assume that the METEOR Units have been equipped with an onboard N- Jammer Canceller equipped Hyper Nuclear- Deuterion Engines; enough to support MSs like the Impulse SPEC II which isn’t Nuclear/ Hyper Nuclear- Deuterion Engine Powered
The METEOR units canonically only had batteries powering them, in previous media, which means that they could be used by non-Nuclear suits, although in a shorter period of time, and their use is only prolonged when they're powered by the Freedom and Justice's reactors. But I wonder if they did have the METEORs upgraded with nuclear power, hence why the Impulse was able to use one of them.
Yes the METEOR units were retrofitted with nuclear reactors for non nuclear powered MS like the Impulse. Earlier we saw the Lightening Buster and Duel Blitz using the upgraded METEOR's, albeit both those MS were also retrofitted with nuclear reactors.
If i remember correctly, Meteor Unit 05 and 06 used by the Junk Guild was equipped with an N-Jammer Canceller and a nuclear reactor so that the Astray Blue Frame could use it. So it is possible the unit 07 and 08 are also being upgraded and equipped with it too
Units 01 and 02 were both battery powered, 05, 06, 07, and 08 were all nuclear powered, and no one knows where the hell is 03 and 04 as their existence is not confirmed

The color looks fine but Sword Impulse have too much red/pink including it’s head. unlike Force and Blast balance colouring while retaining its darker shades.
Then I think of kits. Well, the Sword Impulse is definite to use the ones from Build series as they used an Impulse mold on that one. RG was immediate. Then likely, the rest of the packs will be P-Bandai.

I like Impulse in this movie. It can launch like Strike Gundam. Hate the fact that still needs to recharge its batteries with the recharge beam. Would have been better if just change back packs and recharge up like the Strike.
Yeah, I don't think it would have been that bad to alter the packs with batteries, we at least know about how big MS size backpack mounted batteries should be. For the sake of it, maybe from an in universe design standpoint that is still considered a lot of weight and they want to kill as much dead weight as possible. And of for an out of universe one, they put important equipment on the Freedom, Justice and Destiny's foreheads, and instead of a weapon they put that support tool on the Destiny and wanted to use it on screen.
Nope, apparently Agnes had a thing for Shinn, but she was very haughty about herself. She then tried to go after everyone else, even Kira and Athrun, but they already had their respective partners. Agnes in the end was just sour that despite having incredible skills, she wasn't chosen out of love for her as a person. A person's love doesn't equate to how useful they are, but how much that person means to them on a more intimate level.

Extra detail: Impulse Gundam was cancelled for being too expensive and an unnecessary drain on resources. . . . . The Impulse was Zaft's attempt to mass produce a Gundam. The supplementary material supposedly says that Shinn was not the only one to receive Impulse Gundam. Copies of Impulse were sent to multiple Zaft battlefronts. At first Impulse was well received, but then Zaft Impulse pilots started to fight recklessly because they knew Impulse spare parts could be sent to them during battle. Pilots would sacrifice Impulse parts to win battles. This is not what Zaft designers intended when making Impulse. They wanted something like Strike Gundam where parts could be swapped without returning to the ship. So it put a strain of ZAFT factories and logistics to constantly send spare Impulse parts to different warzones. Eventually Zaft cancelled the Impulse project for being too costly and decided to focus on mass production suits for grunt pilots, and make custom Gundams for ace pilots.
임펄스 스펙 2는 기존에 있었던 임펄스를 개수한 모델로 데스티니 당시때는 신 아스카라는 싸가지가 운용하였으며 이때 출격할때는 코어 스플렌더가 먼저 출격하고 그 다음에 레그 플라이어 와 체스트 플라이어를 사출하여 합체한다.당연히 이녀석의 오마주는 우주세기의 퍼스트 건담으로 근데 퍼스트 건담은 임펄스 처럼 코어블록 따로 코어 파이터 따로 출격 안하고 아예 합체한 채 출격하지만 어쩔때는 코어 파이터가 따로 출격한적이 있었다.근데 이번 스펙 2는 레그 와 체스트 분리되지 않고 아예 일체형으로 출격한다. 유일하게 중파된채 어느정도 보존되었다가 어느정도 스펙업은 했지만 동력원은 여전히 그대로 쓰이고 있다.물론 동력원은 열 내성과 방탄 내성을 강화하기 위해 최신형으로 환장되어 VPS 장갑 기동시에 걸리는 전압이 변화함에 따라 컬러링이 바뀌었고 물론 실루렛 환장도 모함에서 사출되어 플라이어 유도 방식이였지만 이제 실루엣 플라이어를 원격 조종할수있게 가능해졌다.대충 말하면 무인기 조종하는것처럼 생각하면 된다. 무장은 이렇다. MMI-GAU25A 20mm CIWS 2문 M71-AAK 폴딩 레이저 대장갑 나이프 2개 MMI-RG59V 기동 방순(機動防盾) MA-BAR72 고에너지 빔 라이플 1정 이렇게 무장하였다.하지만 검은 기사단의 장갑이 빔 무기에 통하지 않는 펨테크 장갑을 적용했기 때문에 시제품인 35식 改 레일건을 무장하여 해치울수 밖에 없다.물론 실루엣을 교체하면 색이 달라지는데 소드 팩을 교체하면 루나가 한때 데스티니 작중내에서 써먹은 자쿠 워리어 전용기 색으로 바뀌고 블레스터팩을 교체하면 어두운 녹색계통으로 바뀌는데 이거 VPS 장갑 비활성화 된거 아니다.색만 이렇게 나오는것뿐이지 VPS 장갑은 멀쩡하게 활성화 되어 있다. 조종사는 당연히 신의 마누라인 루나마리아 호크이다. 이번 임펄스는 아예 루나 전용 기체로 완전히 못 박은듯하다...
If it ain’t broke, then don’t fix it. This just goes to show that Luna was a great pilot from the get-go and that the Impulse was good enough on its own, even without a nuclear reactor to begin with.
I'm glad that all the memes about her being a crack shot and whoring her way into the special forces can finally die. SEED Destiny made her and the Destiny gundam look like a joke
The blast impulse finally has a good color scheme. I’m talkin a 0 to a 10. The original had way too many high saturation colors going on. Blue, red, green, yellow, black, white.
On the other hand the Impulse is the stronger MS of the two having better technology, and with the Deuterion Beam system can be recharged at any time, instead of only when it has backpacks to recharge with.
Impulse can recharge the energy with Deuterion transmission from Minerva/Millenium and Destiny Spec II, then Silhouette Flyer delivered the Silhouette packs. Also thanks to Deuterion tech Impulse can recharge energy in midst of battlefield without retreat into the mothership. VPS also reduce Impulse energy consumption which made the MS can operate much longer. Now compared with Strike, extra battery on the Strike packs are needed because Strike cannot recharge the energy mid-battle because it doesn't have the Deuterion tech neither the tech exist when Strike was developed. Not only that Strike need to retreat into Archangel to change Striker packs. Skygrasper as Strike's support jet fighter can equipped with Strike packs but because it's earth-only jet fighter it cannot used on space which made Strike vulnerable when it's run out of battery in space.
So, can all of the nuclear powered suits do the deuterion beam thing now, or is that an ability exclusive to the Destiny? If it's the latter, it's neat (and kind of cute) that the engineers for the Spec II said 'yeah, these two are going to sortie together a lot, so we should have one be able to recharge the other'. It's also weird that, despite her being a Coordinator, Luna's never gone into SEED mode.
makes me wonder if the spec 2 lacks the coreblock system and core splender since its implied all the spec two mobile suits got updated with the panoramic cockpits
@@TheResilient5689 well it changed backpack and was at zero power. If not for the destiny it would basically die. That seems like a huge oversight. Even more if we consider it did get recharged automatically moving from blast to sword
just a rant haha. with all of the technology development, why they did not put batteries on the impulse's backpacks, just like what the strike does. since it can recharge via the deuterium charge, why not it is able to put batteries on the backpacks

He also designed the Proud Defender support craft that turned Strike Freedom Type-II into the Mighty Strike Freedom in this movie. TLDR, Albert "Fukuyama" is the father of Freedom and Justice in the Cosmic Era.

そのアグネスに対し前哨戦で消耗アリ･アグネス側の不意打ち･機体の性能差等々、ルナ側に不利要素多数にも関わらず損傷ほぼゼロかつそのままレクイエム攻略に行ける余裕で完勝したのを考えると、マジでルナはアグネスより二回りぐらい強いんよな

アグネスは終始本機狙いで確殺取りに行ってるのに対し、ルナ側はソードの時点で武器狙いで戦闘力削ぐ事に徹底してるのよな
本気で殺すつもりなら恐らくソードシルエットの時点で終わってたかも(ブメの連結分離投擲を武器ではなく本体狙いで飛ばし、その対処でできた隙に回収したエクスカリバーでトドメ、の流れかな

ルナマリア、近接戦強いし、操作の難しそうなインパルスを使いこなしてるし、やっぱりザフトの赤服なんだなって。ルナが露払いをしてくれたことで、味方が他の攻撃に対応できて、敵の総対数も減ってるので、彼女は素晴らしいパイロットだと確信できた。作中で一番好きです、ルナマリア。

The color looks fine but Sword Impulse have too much red/pink including it’s head. unlike Force and Blast balance colouring while retaining its darker shades.
It's a tribute to her old Zaku Warrior.
Then I think of kits. Well, the Sword Impulse is definite to use the ones from Build series as they used an Impulse mold on that one. RG was immediate. Then likely, the rest of the packs will be P-Bandai.

Normally, it only fires one or the other
Blast Impulse can use Full Burst mode to shoot down all enemies and missiles.
Instead of impulse spec II having the same silhouette packs, they really shoulda used the destiny silhouette to make the destiny impulse, they already have a p-bandai rg destiny impulse thats really great too!
I never thought Impulse can extend its Shield in any other packs other than Force pack.
Do wish Luna got a unique pack so she has a form made for her. Still it's great she got to redeem her last outings.

ルナが盾で受けたんだけど角度が悪くて跳ね返りが連結部を直撃したように見えるけどどうなんだろ
自分も盾で受けたけど突破されて連結部に当たり切られた、って見えるかな？
あと偶然連結部に当たったのではなく、ウィップの威力の高さから盾だけでなく剣でもカードしてて、その際に再使用の択も残すためにルナは連結部でのガードを選択した、ってのもありそう

nope, they didn't come with the batteries because of the deuterion beam system.
Good thing the Impulse packs didn't get hit by stray beams
個人的にはコアスプレンダー機能廃止して戦闘機ではなく完全にMSカウントしたデスティニーインパルス(ルナマリア)で夫婦(予定)のデスティニーコンビが見たかった
戦闘シーンが被るからとお蔵入りになったらしいですね。公開直前にデスティニーインパルスのプラモ再販したんだから、本編にも出してくれて良かったんじゃないかって思ってます。

I like Impulse in this movie. It can launch like Strike Gundam. Hate the fact that still needs to recharge its batteries with the recharge beam. Would have been better if just change back packs and recharge up like the Strike.
Yeah, I don't think it would have been that bad to alter the packs with batteries, we at least know about how big MS size backpack mounted batteries should be.
For the sake of it, maybe from an in universe design standpoint that is still considered a lot of weight and they want to kill as much dead weight as possible. And of for an out of universe one, they put important equipment on the Freedom, Justice and Destiny's foreheads, and instead of a weapon they put that support tool on the Destiny and wanted to use it on screen.

Nope, apparently Agnes had a thing for Shinn, but she was very haughty about herself. She then tried to go after everyone else, even Kira and Athrun, but they already had their respective partners.
Agnes in the end was just sour that despite having incredible skills, she wasn't chosen out of love for her as a person.
A person's love doesn't equate to how useful they are, but how much that person means to them on a more intimate level.

@@AvoidTheCadaver I wouldn't be surprised if the Foundation created the chest needle gatlings on their MS to counter the VPS armor based on the Vulcans. Its that good especially when it hits the enemy's critical spots like what we see here

The Impulse was Zaft's attempt to mass produce a Gundam. The supplementary material supposedly says that Shinn was not the only one to receive Impulse Gundam. Copies of Impulse were sent to multiple Zaft battlefronts.
At first Impulse was well received, but then Zaft Impulse pilots started to fight recklessly because they knew Impulse spare parts could be sent to them during battle. Pilots would sacrifice Impulse parts to win battles. This is not what Zaft designers intended when making Impulse. They wanted something like Strike Gundam where parts could be swapped without returning to the ship.
So it put a strain of ZAFT factories and logistics to constantly send spare Impulse parts to different warzones.
Eventually Zaft cancelled the Impulse project for being too costly and decided to focus on mass production suits for grunt pilots, and make custom Gundams for ace pilots.
Sounds like how shinn beat kira.

임펄스 스펙 2는 기존에 있었던 임펄스를 개수한 모델로 데스티니 당시때는 신 아스카라는 싸가지가 운용하였으며 이때 출격할때는 코어 스플렌더가 먼저 출격하고 그 다음에 레그 플라이어 와 체스트 플라이어를 사출하여 합체한다.당연히 이녀석의 오마주는 우주세기의 퍼스트 건담으로 근데 퍼스트 건담은 임펄스 처럼 코어블록 따로 코어 파이터 따로 출격 안하고 아예 합체한 채 출격하지만 어쩔때는 코어 파이터가 따로 출격한적이 있었다.근데 이번 스펙 2는 레그 와 체스트 분리되지 않고 아예 일체형으로 출격한다.
유일하게 중파된채 어느정도 보존되었다가 어느정도 스펙업은 했지만 동력원은 여전히 그대로 쓰이고 있다.물론 동력원은 열 내성과 방탄 내성을 강화하기 위해 최신형으로 환장되어 VPS 장갑 기동시에 걸리는 전압이 변화함에 따라 컬러링이 바뀌었고 물론 실루렛 환장도 모함에서 사출되어 플라이어 유도 방식이였지만 이제 실루엣 플라이어를 원격 조종할수있게 가능해졌다.대충 말하면 무인기 조종하는것처럼 생각하면 된다.
무장은 이렇다.
MMI-GAU25A 20mm CIWS 2문
M71-AAK 폴딩 레이저 대장갑 나이프 2개
MMI-RG59V 기동 방순(機動防盾)
MA-BAR72 고에너지 빔 라이플 1정
이렇게 무장하였다.하지만 검은 기사단의 장갑이 빔 무기에 통하지 않는 펨테크 장갑을 적용했기 때문에 시제품인 35식 改 레일건을 무장하여 해치울수 밖에 없다.물론 실루엣을 교체하면 색이 달라지는데 소드 팩을 교체하면 루나가 한때 데스티니 작중내에서 써먹은 자쿠 워리어 전용기 색으로 바뀌고 블레스터팩을 교체하면 어두운 녹색계통으로 바뀌는데 이거 VPS 장갑 비활성화 된거 아니다.색만 이렇게 나오는것뿐이지 VPS 장갑은 멀쩡하게 활성화 되어 있다.
조종사는 당연히 신의 마누라인 루나마리아 호크이다.
이번 임펄스는 아예 루나 전용 기체로 완전히 못 박은듯하다...

If it ain’t broke, then don’t fix it. This just goes to show that Luna was a great pilot from the get-go and that the Impulse was good enough on its own, even without a nuclear reactor to begin with.

The blast impulse finally has a good color scheme. I’m talkin a 0 to a 10. The original had way too many high saturation colors going on. Blue, red, green, yellow, black, white.

Seems weird that Impulse Backpacks don't recharge Impulse. But Strike Gundam backpacks recharge Strike. Seems like Impulse is a downgrade.
On the other hand the Impulse is the stronger MS of the two having better technology, and with the Deuterion Beam system can be recharged at any time, instead of only when it has backpacks to recharge with.
Impulse Flyer (Packs) system homage of Dragoon Flyer. for some reason it didn’t get shot down while on standby mode.
Impulse can recharge the energy with Deuterion transmission from Minerva/Millenium and Destiny Spec II, then Silhouette Flyer delivered the Silhouette packs. Also thanks to Deuterion tech Impulse can recharge energy in midst of battlefield without retreat into the mothership. VPS also reduce Impulse energy consumption which made the MS can operate much longer.
Now compared with Strike, extra battery on the Strike packs are needed because Strike cannot recharge the energy mid-battle because it doesn't have the Deuterion tech neither the tech exist when Strike was developed. Not only that Strike need to retreat into Archangel to change Striker packs. Skygrasper as Strike's support jet fighter can equipped with Strike packs but because it's earth-only jet fighter it cannot used on space which made Strike vulnerable when it's run out of battery in space.

So, can all of the nuclear powered suits do the deuterion beam thing now, or is that an ability exclusive to the Destiny? If it's the latter, it's neat (and kind of cute) that the engineers for the Spec II said 'yeah, these two are going to sortie together a lot, so we should have one be able to recharge the other'.
It's also weird that, despite her being a Coordinator, Luna's never gone into SEED mode.
Agnes' machine is the ZGMF-2027A... hint at sequel coming in 2027??!
makes me wonder if the spec 2 lacks the coreblock system and core splender since its implied all the spec two mobile suits got updated with the panoramic cockpits

@@TheResilient5689 well it changed backpack and was at zero power. If not for the destiny it would basically die. That seems like a huge oversight. Even more if we consider it did get recharged automatically moving from blast to sword
just a rant haha. with all of the technology development, why they did not put batteries on the impulse's backpacks, just like what the strike does. since it can recharge via the deuterium charge, why not it is able to put batteries on the backpacks

He also designed the Proud Defender support craft that turned Strike Freedom Type-II into the Mighty Strike Freedom in this movie. TLDR, Albert "Fukuyama" is the father of Freedom and Justice in the Cosmic Era.
