The problem is I love to tie flies but i have no means to fish the rivers like you fish with big fishes. I always look at your style of tying. Coz i am one of your student in the early 90's. I always tie all my flies the things I've learnd from you taper wings. Best wishes and happy tying.

I love the videos and as I am sure everyone subscribing will want to replicate your flies exactly and fish them the way that you do. The videos are filmed superbly but it is very difficult to get a perspective on how long the different parts of the fly are. I imagine it is second nature to you in your tying but I would find it very helpful to have a breakdown of how long the different parts of the fly are so that I can replicate it exactly. It will be easier then to figure out the proportions of the fly and to increase or decrease it’s size. I understand that most people might not want to know these things so I’m not saying that this information needs to be in the video, but perhaps you could put the information in the description. I greatly appreciate all the help and knowledge the you are passing on to those of us who have not yet caught a salmon. Many thanks, Chris Efstratiou.

Have you got a swim tank? You discuss the movement that you get from your flies, both in the previous episode and in this one. I, for one, would love to see how they actually behave underwater. Maybe that could be something that you show at the end of the episode, with the fly you just made?

Fantastic tye. I'm intrigued by the "blue" of that blue feather? Doesn't look like Kingfisher Blue, which is the closest blue I have in my materials library. Is it a custom dye or can you tell me what it is called, please? I've got all the other materials and fancy making a couple up while this lock down endures. Thanks.

    Hej Mikael

Hi Mikael, I am 1 of your many subscribers and i do Love the materials, Because I live and Fish mostly in Irish waters, it was quiet scary at first to see the Size of your Flies, but I do realise that I can try and tie them at any size... The thing i see is the very different Types of flies that you use and Flies that the Majority use over here, cascades, ally shrimp etc. Do you tie these? I am Hooked on your ways, and Im only starting out, and I can Honestly see Exactly what you mean by the Movement of your flies, lots of Fishermen over here tie them Very sparingly - Any Advise?? Thanks for All your Very important Help,
    Clive

Sorry Clive - middle of the season! I don't do many of these pattern, i prefer a lively fly, of course i look and steel some of the classic colour combinations, but i have strong believe in a cone creating turbulence for soft materials to swim in...
