I've just had to tie a wee Dee Sheep after watching this. I really must try some of this style of fly but in black, I think they would be great flies for night fishing for sea trout. Thank you Mikael, stay safe!
Hi Michael Frødin. Pretty and airy taped wing that lets the light through, so the colors be right. Here i learned more small details about the fly wing. 🐥 Thanks 👍 Hans E Green 🇳🇴
Fantastic! Finally a quality tying video that fully explains the TTT. Could you please talk more about choosing the right materials for both the wing and hackle?
Mikael Great fly pattern , was wandering how you rigged it now I know . I really like the option of building the body to fit the circumstances it brings so much versatility to the fly. Have been using some of your other flies here in Montana for trout and they work great . Just received your fits starter kit , been tying for 30 years never tied tube flies , it looks like it will really open up my options for my trout Spey endeavors . Thanks
Thanks Mikael for a greate movie and a nice concept with the month pack! A little question. Can you please talk about in the next movie or here witch size of the TTT cone you recommend for witch size of the fly?
Hi could you do a setup video or just a post. Im new into salmon/two-handed rod fishing and would like to get tips on backing, lenght/thickness and so on, shootingline and shootingheads.
i do think the opposite.. one material one way the next the other... this tightens things best... but most important use a thread that stretches enough and pull hard!
Can,t thank you enough for the valuable tips, looking forward to next months tying.

Hei mr. Frodin. kan du lage slike videoer der du binder på krok? bor i oslo, ser disse varje dag
Very nice :-)! Thanks for the idea!
One of the trickiest things is to source the best quality and affordable wing and hackles materials. Any suggestions or links on where to buy these ?
Awesome video, thanks for posting this. Can you elaborate a little bit on what you use for the wing material? What exactly is the soft fur?
Thanks
I will talk. more on hair in next film. .. but the quality is more important than exactly what it is
Im sad the Salar hooks are not available any longer. Best hooks i've used! You should bring them back :)
We are!
@@frodinflies Thats great news! Hope they will be identical to the old ones. I'll be buying a ton! Are they coming for this season already?
@@Talos353 The plan is for next season!
@@frodinflies Thank God for that. I don't dare tye on my ones anymore!
You shouldn’t of brought them back , the elusiveness to find them was the best part , it adds to the mystique of having a few in your flybox
Thanks Mikael for a greate movie and a nice concept with the month pack!

Tips on leaders as well:)
You tie hackle opposite way than thread, any reasons for? I thought is better to tie same way materials with thread so it would tighten them better...

could you tell me what liner tubing you use please mine keep breaking of loosing tungsten head.thanks
Of course I use FITS ... You find them in our web shop at frodinflies.com or at leading fly shops.
