- Are we playing the worst meta right now in Dungeonborne?
Every melee fight feels like a muda muda...
I feel like it yes, it's basically stat-check, right-clicks and Ws at the moment. But still, we enjoy going in the dungeons.

Yeah it's great news, the Devs have been pretty good at addressing the balance issues so far, I hope they keep up the good work.
The problem currently is not only Life on Hit thing, but also that I consistently see 30-50 geared players in casual while being barely 20. And 20 geared players while having couple greens and white stuff. The matchmaking feels completely broken.
same thing almost every game. literally unplayable if u are not capable to buy full purple gear every game. or just playing sneaky loot goblin, i mean, rogue...
matchmaking is based of gear score stop trying to take sets in.... also maybe research before whining. White items are 1 gear score greens 2 etc. weapon sets count as 1 slot total for gs calculation. casual lobbies are all 18 gs or under
i finally could afford some nice gear, lost it withing 40 sec of joining a game.. gear score 18 lost to fully stacked crew.. me and the boys had toy swords vs Adamantium laced metal.. feels bad

@@stinglock I think they will adjust the LoF stat after their Boss Speedrun, I don't see any other reason to not patch it as soon as possible

This meta plus cryo blizzard spam is so rough rn life on hit needs to be cut down to about half the amount and the blizzard needs a cool down or needs to be breakable. My best suggestion is to make the ice cube in the middle breakable.
No way they should be able to do 3-4 storm in one fight. At least if it’s breakable you’ll have to actually put it in a good spot rn you can just turn your brain off and place it anywhere. And you also can give life on hit.
I’m a priest main and we’ve tried the meta and we won almost every game because of how free dual blade life on hit dk is with storm spam.
it is breakable tho? dk grip can stop the charging of the storm and it goes especially for the pyromancer with charged fireblast in which case you should auto lose 2 pyro after he hit you and stopped your storm. And even if you dont have the ability to stop the storm cast, you can always use shield and sword with charged attack to either get to cryo or fake it and charge into opposite direction, while you are inside the storm
@@TTWhitera yeah it’s not OP in solos it’s OP in trios where you get stormed there teammates are unaffected and beating you from the sides while you whole team can’t move. They can storm more often than you can grab. Also not everyone has an ability to charge out and even that isn’t always super effective.
The ice block in the middle needs to be breakable or the cooldown needs to be longer and I’m sure one of these two changes will be made soon.
I main priest but even when I played fighter before it was terrible to fight in but in solos it isn’t op because u aren’t getting attacked also while it’s happening by the mage. In trios you are so unless they make the storm damage and slow your teammates it needs to be changed
Dude im with you im beyond over the rogue meta in solos and LOH across the board, nerfs werent enough
I basically haven't been able to play with or against LoH since I've been working so much but it does seem over tuned aside from that GREAT video!

I could maybe see a crit chance + high dex meta for some classes coming soon... But it wouldnt be Meta for every class

@@samroscoe944 i tested it, for fighter is it the best in slot values as you don't have dmg skills (no dk shroud, grab or swordmaster Q and E) so dmg scaling is only for your raw attacks. (I mean that for battle cry fighter), so dmg on kill scales badly for fighter, but dmg on hit (max you can get is 44 if i count correctly : 12 with weapons, 14 hands + boots, 12 for jewelry 6+3+3, head pieces divine crown +6 too), with 40% resi it's a +30dmg per hit so the scaling with double sword pattern is quite crazy

there will always be a meta and I will always abide by its rules. If there were a PvE only mode it could be fun to run subpar gear or classes, but since it's PvP and I hate getting my a**hole ripped open by some cryo + DK team with LoH I will use it as well

Fix the game's stuttering!!! I can't play without constant 2 seconds freeze or stutter every 5 seconds, tried every possible method and it won't go away

yes they need to buff the fucking rogues health cant do shit if a cryo slows u,cant do shit if u get pulled by death knight,cant do shit if ur not in someones face unless u usue crossbow but it reloads too slow and you only get one shot im tired of it being trash unless i completely out gear someone

Try bringing lots of crossbows, 3+
you need to outplay (aim, play on your CD) if you want to win as rogue and not miss a shot whereas a DK can just run you down with a couple stats and always win
Rogue is the easiest to steal kills and farm loot and escape, cant have it all

man these devs are not actual gamers. many devs arent. thats why games come up and need 50 patches to keep balancing stuff. so many new pvp games come out unbalanced, its insane.

Life on hit as is serves as poor game design.
Hopefully we get a rework that it remains feasible but not borked.

that's a hot take tbf, cryo thunderflask + curse basically roots a player you know, and as for the dashing, fighter can dash and druids but that's all, and you dmg ramps up as they run away too
