Can it break the rectifier if its turned on without bring connected to the jewelry????

I have the same one as you and I followed all the instructions and can’t get it at .01v and .10 amp. I can’t get it to .1 amp unless it’s over .2 v 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi this is a long shot but thought I'd ask. I have this exact rectifier and I can't figure out why it won't work. I did exactly what you said and for some reason no matter what i do the volts automatically jump up to 30 and switch to cv mode. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't figure it out 🥺

My amps bounce up and down too! I don't think it should do this. The one I used during an electroforming class stayed put , it costs over $100 for it though, so I'm hoping for a better option.
