thank you so much for this video! I absolutely love Bucharest, Brasov, and others sooo much and cannot wait to go back! This video definitely helps bridge the gap while I am gone. Thx sooo much again!
Travel vloggers thrives in România because we love to see others discover and enjoy our culture, my advice is stay here for a while to grow your platform 😂and have fun
Welcome and congrats for the work behind this video, many do not see it, but I realize that it is well documented and edited. Thank you for the presentation of my dear city. Many Romanians, during the communist period, came from the country to work in factories and many did not adapt to urban life and destroyed the city. In recent years, Bucharest is starting to recover from its inter-war glory and I hope to reach again the "little Paris" as it was called in the past and as my grandmother told me it was ❤
Romania looks good its different from other European countries in terms of scenic beauty. It has more of fancy structures. You guys doing a great job! Enjoying your vlogs and its a visual treat for us followers❤
Such an interesting history about Romania. I had no clue it has so much of Soviet influence. Added now in my bucket list! Thank you for sharing the story 😊
Not Soviet ! was under a communist regime like for like 40y , and that dictator inspired more from N. Korea , he even travelled to N Korea several times and took insipiration from there ! he made an enemy from Russia actually . Thats why Ronald Reagen visited Communist Romania back in the days to show his Support for Romania and Ceausescu after Ro. cut all connections with Russia. Was a very brave move back that in that period to do , and Ro. prepared for war back then just in case Russia planed to invade us . Ro. and Russia where enemies from the most part of the the history more or less.
Thank you for offering more political context for the "House of Parliament" / "House of the People" building. Most travel vloggers just stop at the "The Second Heaviest Administrative Building In The World" which i just find baffling. Come back soon :D
Namaste/Bună ziua my dears Apa kaise hain ? Hopefully you're well and truly enjoyed your day trip around Bucharest city! If you're willing and planning to explore more of România I'll suggest you to travel a bit further into the country as Brașov county, Sibiu county, and all across the area of Transylvania in particularly Maramureș area! Beautiful people, unique pictoresc landscapes, home made artizan food and a lot more to be discover by yourself. Please get a road trip as well from Discover România! I wish you a very pleasant stay ahead . DHANYAVAAD
Hahaha! I love how knowledgeable you are about Hindi! Yes, that's the plan, hopefully for next time! We went to Brasov and Sibiu, and we completely fell in love with Romania! We definitely need to do a road trip to explore more.
We visited Sibiu and Brasov and oh my gosh!! They did not disappoint!! Now we are considering finding a way to visit Timisoara as well! We absolutely have to come back for an epic Romanian road trip. There is just so much to see and experience in this underrated country!
While the city still bears remnants of the communist era, we actually loved the city. The people have gone through a lot, yet they are so lovely and honest about their history! They have such strong resilience and an awesome culture!
Looks better than anywhere in the Bronx, that's just called affordable housing. There is a reason romania has the highest home ownership rate on earth, homeless people are unheard of. Capitalism if anything has much damaged the country, especially the nature. The vast majority of the city of bucharest (which is the most affected by what you call "ugly facades") is beautiful old villas with courtyards. The large avenues are where the large affordable housing resides. Bucharest is a chaotic city, and it is nothing like the rest of the country, it's much like new york in that aspect. Most romanians do not like bucharest, they prefer the more classical European type cities romania offers, as likley would you. It's hilarious how misinformed Americans are, I sadly grew up in the usa, but thankfully chicago and not anywhere else in the massive strip mall parking lot that is the usa. I'm well aware of your type. I promise you biden isn't communist 😂
I'm here right now, renting an apartment in a "bloc." I love it. It's comfortable and spacious. I have a lovely, covered sun porch that looks out onto a tree-lined street with a variety of shops, however, it's not in a "ritzy" area. I especially like the "old-fashioned" elevator. I don't think my building is ugly at all.
Excellent video, best I have seen on Bucharest.
Hey! Thank you so much!! Means a lot 🤗😊

You should also try Timisoara if you are such fans of the anti comuism revolution
Looks like we gotta come back! 🤗🤗🥰
how does racism in Romania compare to other European countries you travelled to?
Thankfully, we have not encountered any racism during our travels. However, we did come across some extremely racist comments online.
Horrible city...34 years of capitalism have been not enough to change the communist façade of those ugly apartment buildings.
While the city still bears remnants of the communist era, we actually loved the city. The people have gone through a lot, yet they are so lovely and honest about their history! They have such strong resilience and an awesome culture!
