I am in the final stage were you copied and paste this .\setup.exe /configure .\configuration.xml - But I don't understand where you got it from. So I tried to type it straight to my powershell browser and executed but it didn't work. Error message

I tried this on Parallels Desktop running Windows 11 on my Macbook Pro M2 machine. It was found that the installation doesn't work on ARM64 machines.

Hello, you need to delete the older version. I also encountered the same problem and solved like this. Just go to your system panel, delete Microsoft Office 2016 and coma back and download 2019 Visio. It will work.

It didn't work. The administrator of my personal computer asked for permission, and after I said 'yes', a Microsoft window appeared saying "We couldn't find the specified configuration file. Check the file path and file the name."

I think you made mistake while editing xml file.
While editing the xml file the ID in product tag you have to enter id over there which appread on the screen like ID="VisioPro2019Volume".
Hopefully it Will work....
@karollaynedutra2231 remove ".xml" extention in the configuration file if you typed it manually
I faced that too but then It worked for me when I renamed the configuration file as just "configuration" instead of "configuration.xml" as it was already an xml file.

It works great: I installed it and everything. But whenever I move a big object it crashes. Can i install the Visio 2013 using your method but replacing "VisioPro2019Volume" with "VisioPro2013Volume" when editing the "configure.xml" file?

hah! just solved it. Someone in the comments below already posted it, try renaming the configuration file to just "configuration" without the ".xml" In some cases the pc already recognises it as an .xml file, so giving it the .xml suffix will just change the name, therefore causing the programm to not recognise the file
