Simple guide, with basic and easy steps. The narrator voice is a little wonky, but clear and precise. Good video for a beginner like me. Not to much extra nonsense.

This is a very good video. The narrator explains the Visio UI and its working in a simple and easy to understand language. He covers most of the commonly used features. The only feedback that I have is that we moves the pointer and toggles between the screens very fast. Please be a little slow so that we can refer to the UI elements while we are hearing you and trying to understand what you are doing on the page.

I ran into this program years ago before Microsoft bought the company. It was incredible then; it's lost a lot now but still fairly good.
I agree completely. Visio Technical was very, very good, but Microshaft changed it to "Professional" and left most of the development of the mechanical designs on the back burner. A shame!
@@edjett2631 I would love to get my hands on a copy of that program before Microsoft bought it. It was a local lawfirm that was using it and their practice catered to those industries that would call for its use. I still run into Visio schematics in what my boss does. And a test I was sent to take for a pre-job interview had a Visio design on it but the company did not tell the agency, thinking no one would know the difference between Visio and Powerpoint. My agency was not happy with them when I told them what happened!

It's been an hour since I read this comment and it's still making me laugh!I legitimately thought it was one of those Microsoft Sam automated voices but I couldn't work out who it sounded like.
I'm not familiar with Goofy's English voice, but I also noticed something special with the narrator. Heavy American accent, but slow and accurate vocalization.

I was looking for explanations on when to use each type of shape int he basic flow chart, almost everything I created is a "process shape"

When I use the straight lines, and make an shape, the lines are stuck to each other so when I want to remove or edit one line I placed it edits the hole shape I created... Do you know how I can ungroup them? I have already checked the group settings but there it wasn't a group so I could'nt ungroup it...
If the shape is edited when it is ungrouped, it gets edited due to the Connection Points shared.

I have excel file contains 9 taps.
I need to hyperlink certain excel TAP to a certain visio sheet.
I need to repeat this process with a different visio TAP with a different excel TAP in the same sheet.
When I do hyperlink its open as the last time saved.

Hey Guys i created the Custom stencils in visio via pencils and arc tool, while i am reduce the shape size the stroke is increasing, is there any option to scale the stroke as well as please let me know, or please suggest me the how to create the custom big stencils for different sizes
