This film is about perception and understanding that everything is perfect always, maybe it's just you looking at it wrong. You can't control your surroundings, but you can control the way you SEE them.

I can't believe I am only seeing this now. In almost 4 years it has not lost relevancy or beauty whatsoever. Watched it with my mouth open from start to finish. It was complete. Cinematography, editing and most of all story. This was a true inspiration, thank you for that :)

Dan, this is AMAZING! I was speaking with my grandmother yesterday and she was in a very bad mood and as much as I tried I could not get her to smile. This video does what I couldn't do: truly explain that you have a choice every morning when you wake up and every day as you come across new battles and victories. what the actual flip. this is the first video I've cried to that's about self happiness. I've seen hundreds of other videos on Facebook and instagram and TH-cam about "be who you are" and all that but idk. this one was just different. the script, the acting, all the cinematography especially when Gift is in her hometown. just beautiful uce (Samoan for brother). You are a mad genius! No doubts about your incredible talent and world class editing skills.
However, when I first saw the 'Behind the Scenes' of this film, it built up this hype in my mind that I will get to see some "dancing" in the actual film. Some more music, more dancing. It built up the hype really well but unfortunately in the film, I did not see it enough. I just wanted to see more dancing and more music at the end. That could have made the film end on an 'EPIC' note. Just an honest observation. Overall - this is probably your most beautiful work!
