man hearing you is almost like your dad's still with us. it's really almost spooky how much you sound like him but I love that you still do some of his old songs, your keeping real music alive.
Thanks for this great song Ned . This was the first song I heard of your dads back in 1990. I had graduated high school and went to Buffalo Wyoming to work at Paradise Guest Ranch. I heard this song sung around a campfire my first week in Wyoming. I also heard that same night ( Night Riders Lament. ) . The next day I had off, I went to the local feed store in Buffalo and bought two of your dads tapes. Powder River was one of those albums. I fell in love with every song on that album. Unfortunantly several of my cassets were melted in my car on a 100 degree day. I have never been able to find that album again. I would love to have one in cd form if it is still available. My sister bought me a box set of your dads one year for christmas and I enjoy listining to it quite often. If there is a place I could order another copy of Powder River and some of your songs also would be great. I realy enjoy listening to you sing also. I love what you are doing with the new music and finishing your dads songs. This is true country at its purist since. I had the pleasure of meeting your dad and the band in El Paso Tx. about a year after I left Wyoming. What impressed me most about him was his devotion to his family and wife. That has stuck with me all these years. Please keep doing what you are doing. I will be looking for your music in the future. Hope I didnt ramble to long. Add me to your growing list of fans.
Ned, I knew you when you were just a little guy playing in the bottom of the motor home your dad fixed up so he could take the family with him. I'm sure you don't remember me but I am proud of you keeping your dad alive in your music! Adios
keep up the great work Ned. I got to see you at your first CFD performance you were excellent, took alot of people back to them good ole days when your dad performed. It would be great to see you on the big stage again..good luck.
I know everybody tells you, you sound like your dad (which you do) I just really hope you keep playing YOUR music with one of his now & then. But most of all I hope you make it big in the music business. Just always remember where you came from. Kelly Swanty
Ned, if you and Mac are doing a project together, I'll be there at opening on release day to grab a copy! He did such a great job with your Dad's last few albums. Obviously, I missed hearing WU in the latter days, but those studio songs just sounded great!

I love the Johnson County War! Your dad would be very proud. Are you planning on doing Hoka Ha Lakota? That was actually the first song that I heard your daddy sing. My mom would play it on one of her old CDs.
Thank you Ned for learning to play, and for keeping your Dad's songs with us. We loved him and love you, too.
