the only difference is that we don't get to see Chris in concert and i was born a few months after Chris died so i never got to see him in concert but i just recently got to see Ned in concert and it was amazing.

I absolutely love the whole Sagebrush album, and I think this is my favorite song on it. Looking forward to seeing Ned again next time he makes it down to northern Utah
I could always here it in his voice and thought that he was giving it a good go….but with this song he found the magic that had alluded him up to this point….with a song that in many ways even exceeds the big shoes he is trying to fill.

I was in Mack’s Market in Thermopolis and hearing the studio version of this song for the first time just softly in the background, not having any idea what it was other than it had a slightly more hard rockin’ than typical Chris LeDoux sort of thing going on, the lyrics just jumped out, had to stop and listen, then hoped “Some People Do” from the chorus would find it for me on TH-cam. Cool song!

Wendy S country living isn't a bad thing. There's a lot of places like this in my home state of Maine too. The only difference is miles of forest. I've driven through Montana and Wyoming and hunted in Montana there's something about that area the just called to my soul
