It's hard to believe this is the final video from this trip. It never feels like the trip is REALLY over until I finish the final edit 😭. We hope you enjoyed watching this series as much as we enjoyed sharing it with y'all!
Life's too short for instant coffee, especially if you're away from keurig/drip coffee maker. French press is our must have whenever we get going. 😊 Even in the desolation of the landscape, beauty is everywhere to behold.

If I'm being honest, usually the thing that keeps me from making real coffee is the percolator cleanup. Some mornings I just don't wanna deal with it. BUT ... I recently found out that percolator filters are a thing, which is muuuuuch better. How's the cleanup on a French press?
@WheretoNextOverland all that's leftover is the grounds. Dump the majority in the trash, swirl some water for the leftover and toss away from the site. Its ground up coffee beans so it will go back into the earth. I don't know if that falls under bad camping manners, so correct me if im wrong.
IDK if it's good camping manners or not, but I do the same thing. I find a tree / bush / plant a little outside of camp and dump the grounds at the base. I figure I've gotta be making that plant happy / fertilizing it .... right?? 🤣
😂😂😂 "Good morning, it's still windy" 🎬 Haha!! Beautiful shots!! And the coffee, yeah, do what you need to do lol! Hell, we sometimes bring coffee in a can! Nice work on the snake shots Christine 👍🏻 Great episode, excellent series 👌🏻
Kofa is an excellent place to get away from it all. On one of my visits, I came upon a rare Sonoran Pronghorn. And yes, it's entirely possible to cross the Reserve and not see another human.
Not a SINGLE person! It was (literally) wild. As for fuel, we actually cut it closer than we would've liked. Mapping it out, I didn't think fuel would be an issue since there were spots to bail along the route to gas up ... but with how slow going it ended up being, our fuel lights were definitely on by the time we were able to gas up
Yep, we'll be there! Thurs and Fri, at least. We'll be camping & wandering around....might do an impromptu meetup. Our Instagram page will probably be most up to date with that stuff. Hope to see you there!

Did we just become best friends 🤣
@dvsmike 🤣 it's times like these when TH-cam comments need animated .gifs!

Such an amazing place. Hope we find ourselves back there again soon!
Love some instant coffee! Definitely has its place!
Agree! Sometimes easy coffee is best coffee 🤣
Beautiful area! Thanks for sharing that adventure. What time of year were you there?
We were there the first two weeks of April
Looking forward to more.
Stay tuned! BIG change coming to the channel 😃
Sonoran desert is huge! Not a single person? Definitely adding this to the top of my list lol. Did you all have any issues with fuel? Great series 🙌

Isn't the 100 series just amazing. I have a 100 and a 60 series, just such amazing machines
It really is! Absolutely love ours.
Must of started out west of highway 85 good year and gilla bend cut off.
Sounds about right. The route started along the Agua Caliente Road for a bit before we turned off onto some more primitive roads
I've been wanting to do KOFA again.. its been a few years
Oh man, there's so much to see packed into that (relatively) small area. Already looking forward to getting back there
Were you running most of the time with your suspension raised?
I think we only raised it once on the entire AZ trip, and that was just to climb a particularly gnarly rock ledge along the North Rim
I used to hunt out there for 2 weeks straight and not see another human…
Sounds like our experience (not seeing anyone at all) wasn't unique. Such an amazing area
