1989 Batmobile has the most charm for me and suits the whole Tim Burton energie perfectly.
2005 Tumbler is the most impressive to me. How believeable this car comes across in the Nolan trilogy is mind blowing.

What I find incredible is that the Tumbler was a real car. They created a few versions if I’m not mistaken, one of which was used to jump onto the rooftops? Correct me if I’m wrong.
@@MCsnaps That is what I know as well :) Different models for different stunts regarding weight and needed features. There has never been one fully functional version as we thought we saw in the movie :)

For me it's Batman v Superman and TDK Tumbler.
Both were extremely powerful and produced the best roar and were deliberately crashed into walls and vehicles

Atomic Batteries to power and turbines for speed the 1966 Batmobile in the 1960's was outstanding. 1989 Batmobile looked so Awesome. The Tumbler was a Tank and amazing what they could get it to do in the three movies.
The Tim Buton / Keaton Bat Mobile is the very definition of Batman. It doesn't bother with Old or Modern. It's absolute timeless. Newton's face and The Theme Music is unmatched. This is Gotham true to Comic.
It has always been and always will be the 66' Batmobile for me. Been in love with it since I was a little kid and saw it on the Adam West, Burt Ward Batman TV show. The ones in between the 66' model and the Tumbler are mostly forgettable, imo. The fact the latest one is a reformed Charger makes it instantly my second favorite. Also, it's just really cool! I like the fact that, like the 66' model, it's more like an actual vehicle and not a spaceship.

The 2022 Batmobile reminds me of something more at home in a Mad Max movie.
I think the dark knight series was the best in every aspect... The storyline, the cast, the gadget and above all, the batmobile and the bike...

The next in live action I would want to see is the Batmobile from Arkham Knight. If they could make a working version that would be a beast. Even more so than the tumbler.

So hard to choose a favorite! The '89 Batmobile has an almost cartoonish muscly vibe, perfect for Tim Burton, while the Tumbler is definitely a darkly monstrous Nolan creation...love both of them! I can't lie. The Tumbler is my most favorite. The Clooney version is my least favorite (as is the movie), but they each have their own unique charm, and each one perfectly matches the demeanor of the Batman they served. I truly love them all...

The Lincoln Futura by Ghia did have a raising double bubble top crystal roof while Batmobile opted for a roadster with a police light in the arc dividing the seats in the roof

Yes, Keaton's version is really cool, a classic in design. But the Tumbler is still my favorite. The latest Batmobile I didn't like at all.

I think the original one, by far, is the coolest. It looks like a bat, has mag wheels, it's a cabriolet, has a rocket engine... I think Batman would need some coolness and this one's it.
the Lambo Fantasma has a great shape for a bat mobile, very similar to the Animated series bat mobile. plus fuse that with the Pattisons car, you have a nice upgrade
especially if the fantasma has both gloss and matte black finishes,
to me, there are two main iconical ones: the Buton's one and the Tumblr... there's no other choice to me.
I honestly think the next bat mobile will look like a futuristic ramp car from fast and furious.

The tumbler is an amazing vehicle that does everything it says it can do, but the best looking one for me was the one Keaton drove. It looks like a sadistic 1950's super gangster muscle car.
I grew up loving Keaton’s Batmobile, but love Batfleck’s Batmobile, too. It had a great blend of the Keaton mobile’s curves with the practicality of the Nolan-verse.
The Clooney Batmobile is a decent one to be honest. I know because it was in the B&R movie that many people disliked. But it's 2023. I think I have let go of the anger of the B&R movie. It was what it was and I am liking the ClooneyMobile.

The serial from the 1940's did have a "batmobile" although it was just a large sedan with no special gadgets. It did have curtains in the back seat so they could have some privacy while changing into their costumes in the car.

I liked the BTAS version the best. Even though it was just a retro 1940's version of the Keaton Batmobile it looked cool and had a giant piston engine that sounded like it was idling no matter how fast the car went. Watch the Jay Leno's garage episode with his 1934 Rolls-Royce aero car with a 27 liter Merlin Engine under the hood it makes the exact same sound in real life. It's very cool.

The newest car is hands down the coolest car. I love the Tim B, and the tumbler, but for raw down to earth cool, the new one is it.
No it’s not, I’m happy to tell you!! It’s as boring and humdrum as hell. No imagination whatsoever went into making it. All they did was stick extra movie prop parts on a classic muscle car here and there, paint it black, & stick their names on it. The designers don’t have any imagination whatsoever!! And you can take that to the bank…

Don't get me wrong I was 18 when the Tim B car hit the screen and the tumbler is right out of Frank Millers dark night and appeals to my Army days. But the new cars entrance surpasses them. It was like out of a horror movie like "Christine" or "The Car" I mean the sound shook the whole theater. They did more with less....
you forgot about one more fact that tumbler has a batbike in it(only in movie though), when in emergency he can use to run away. Thank me later

My personal favorites are the 1966, the 1989 and the batman vs superman batmobile. Always thought the tumbler was just fugly. The new one is cool but doesn't have that mythical quality to it. Out of those though I still think no batmobile looks cooler than the Keaton mobile.

Adam West's Batmobile also had a Bat Ray!!! A laser beam that could a T-Rex if one was running after you!!!!! Lol!!!! And Robin also had a Batzooka that could be used to take out a T-Rex.

Great information. It would have been nice to have included a little background / research on the character, Batman, to tie into his vehicles (ex. Frank Miller / The Tumbler Batmobile; most recent movie is a “year one” story so the car brilliantly reflects that) but all-in-all, well done.
The tumbler is more realistic and makes more sense to me.

I think the latest batmobile is the best one we've gotten in a long time.
It always bothered me back in the Nolan Trilogy, it was like, oh we want a more grounded and realistic Batman! So let's give him super high-tech state of the art mega military technology! And then continued the trend of Batman must have military vehicles! Sure Batman did have his fancy vehicles back with Michael Keaton and such, but they didn't feel like military vehicles.
This time, it's a muscle car, now this is grounded more in reality with a bit of fantastical edge to it. It has BITE AND EDGE to it, those engines are so powerful sounding, I almost feel as if the thing could ram a hole through the tumbler. And it just goes to show you, no matter how fancy the military vehicle is with it's lasers and missiles, it will never be cooler than a god damned muscle car.
