I honestly think it's great that you take the time to explain the moves and tips while you're playing your games. Thank you so much for being such a good chess instructor.
I remember watching all of those games, the condensed version is great to cut right to the advice parts. Great consolidation. When do we get to meet the 2 year old????
Love thoses vids ! A simple tip tho, i know its longer and over other videos but i often just listen to thoses , but instead of a "Ding" , stating the tips as they comes or as they are presented would be massively usefull ! Otherwise , Keep it up :D
Nelson, you are a great librarian of chess videos I commend you cause you must have spent quality time to combine all these nuggets from your archives into one powerful instructive content! 👍
Re: tip #20. You might want to hold off fianchettoing your bishop until you capture one of your opponent’s bishops - then fianchetto the bishop of that color! So if you capture/trade for your opponent’s white-squared bishop, then fianchetto your white-squared bishop! 😀
This really opened my eyes that this game is really a strategy game and there are so many ways you can win and dominate an opponent, so crazy how i never viewed it like that since the beginning when i played chess
While I enjoy watching the live streams, lately they have been running for 3-4+ hours. Unfortunately, there is not enough time in the day to watch and then play and/or practice. 56 tips in 30 minutes to the rescue! Thank you for taking the time to do all that you do for the chess community.
if the narration is too fast go to settings, then choose playback speed. i do that frequently and it helps in most cases.....also select cc to read along.....
This amount of information in this much time is way too condensed. It's just too much to process. I appreciate the effort though. Just wanted to give some honest feedback.
The last time I saw 56 tips in 30 minutes I had to go to the hospital. 😢 good ol college days
😂😂😂

It's a clip show!
Half of these I think are somewhere in my brain, the others need to be added to that collection. Gotta watch this again! Thanks!
Love thoses vids !

Agreed!
Im pretty sure all my opponents are like "What's going on?"😂
Great summary of ideas! Love this.

these tips coming from Average Joe's games are very helpul! they come in handy!
It would have been amazing if you had provided links to each of the moments when each of the plays seen in this video occurred.
i learned so much from your rating climb, thanks Nelson
Nice set of brief tips that are well demonstrated and easy to remember. Thanks, as always, for sharing your knowledge.
Love your way of explanation 👌 👏

I like this highlight reel of your best tips format!
Love condensed content, thanks Nelson!
Great video, thanks Nelson!
This is a great video 😊thabk you! I paused it at each title so I could read it slowly before watching each segment. Worked really well❤
It's not about the destination; it's about the pieces you sacrifice along the way.
What excellent tips , thanks Nelson - will need to watch a few times !!
Excellent montage!
at 11:44, is it not checkmate after nD3+ and then your other knight g2?
Great tips!

(@10:15) I don’t think it’s a random pawn move; looks like black wants to control a6 so he can put his knight or bishop there (bishop, most likely.)
Thanks a lot ❤
So what was the follow up here @4:49 after queen g6??
It's right in the next tip, the deflection tactic
What is the RICE stat in the lower right?
It means he played a cheater, it's an inner joke of the channel from a previous rating climb
@@NicoRTM Thanks!
A Bit to fast pacedbut great tips
4:05 isn't there a M1 Qxh7#?
Look at the queen, white is in check
Nice compilation. I could still do without the swoop sounds, though.
Why does everyone think it’s cute to put up text that go away before you can finish reading them?
what does rice mean?
Cheaters, they're cooking. Cooking rice.
Very fast video..please slow down Nelson. There's no hurry :)
Ting sound is super irritating

These are all from his rating climb playlist. Information like this is really common in those videos, and a bit more explanation.
@ I know. I’m following the climb. Great stuff! :)
Ahh fair enough! I thought you weren’t aware of those. Don’t mind me!
You don't have to watch it in one go
