Awesome video! I totally agree with your tips. I didn’t realize how hard native English speakers are to understand until I started teaching, so don’t feel discouraged if you have this problem! Good luck with your English studies everyone! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Perfect! I'm learning english by myself, and every time that I'll hear some native English I have a great difficulty to understand what they say, and yes, it's really frustrating... But listening to others natives, as in this video, I realize that I am able to undertand, I just need to keep learning and don't give up! Thanks for helping! I loved the video!
It's so great to listen to someone who speaks English as you do. I wish I had all the resources we do nowadays. When I lived in the US 30 years ago, there was not the internet. In order to learn a new word, I had to ask someone who knew that word to help me with the pronunciation. I was really lucky because I met some helpful people at work. But they weren't available whenever I needed them. Thanks so much for the amazing job you do helping so many people in improving their English. I hope that all the benefits you are giving to us life compensates you. Thanks, Stefanie.
You're the best coach in the world. I can understand you better than many other natives and not to mention that you can teach us in a practical and simple way any instructive content of the English language. Thank you for helping native non-speakers. THANK YOU FOR HELP ME!
I'm living abroad for couple of months, and you can't imagine how crucial are being your classes for me. You are doing a great job on helping people out learning and/or improving their English. God bless!
A native like you make us non-natives learn faster. And you're so generous to let us see your videos with only little amount of ads. Thank you so much!! You're the best!
For non-native English speaker like me, the main reason why it's difficult to understand native English speakers is because we have little to no practice of conversational english. Our learning is mostly thru classroom lectures and reading. And conversational english feels like a totally different dimension. And also, you're not alone in terms of zoning out lol. My brain also does that to me when the information it receives are overwhelming.
I can't agree for more to your opinion. Sometimes I also dont get the jokes specially if a person use unfamiliar words. Whats funny is they be laughing and I would just pretend to be laughing as well even though I dont understand anything.

It's hard to me to see my progress, but now I realize, omg, I can understand everything she's talking
I understand you well but if someone speak quickly i dont understand. especially british
Me too, or when I see movies or tv series
The English British is so difficult to understand, in fact I think about that an American may not understand them
I’m Brazilian, I love your classes, I can understand you 95%, sometimes 100%, but I have difficult to speak, because when I’m trying to introduce a conversation I generally think in Portuguese..Sometimes, I’m not so interested in a conversation and I can’t pay attention and my thoughts go away. Thank you for the classes and the tips!:)
I would suggest that you should read english text as much as you can. Good luck!
Sometimes I don't even understand a conversation in Portuguese, my native language because my brain does the same thing as yours. So you're not alone hahahah
