I believe since Barry's worldwide brake through an other great artist was also sort of parallel to his music. They did know each other, but in my humble opinion Barry end up to be more succesful. His name? ISAAC HAYES. I had given a music art piece earlier: Earth Wind & Fire - I'll write a song for you. Vocalist? Philip Bailey. Thanks.
He was a big part of the Disco Days! We danced to this!He also wrote all the music and words without ever reading music! Pure raw talent! Amazing! Love him 4ever❤❤❤
Hahaaa... "I dunno!?" OK, you're gonna learn today, Ace! Yes Mr Barry White was the OG "Mack Daddy," he and his music were like no other. Barry not only wrote and composed his songs he conducted them with full orchestras. He made it imperative to incorporate the strings if you wanted a disco hit. And yes there were other male artists who took the same approach. Issac Hayes was the Black Moses of R&B. He scored abs performed the soundtrack for the movie, SHAFT! Check out the performance of his Oscar winning song The Theme from Shaft in1971. And I gotta give props to the artist who came before them, Mr. Lou Rawls! His songs "A Natural Man" and "You'll Never Find" were his huge r&b dance floor hits.
Ace! Barry was amazing and awesome! That hairdo I guess was his homage to James Brown? He left us way too soon but weight will do that to you. A constant struggle for me, too. For the most part the sound was real. There were synthesizers then and Moog and stuff. But, it was mostly folks playing instruments. Fun reaction!
@@michaelasay8587 sigh, it had to be so sad. As a Carpenters fan, back then it was all a shock. There was no internet, TH-cam etc. where you’d see the deterioration happening. I see it now in all the videos that exist. Polar opposite of Barry. Both so sad.
Ace, saw him 4 momths before he died. He could barely sing and lasted 40 mins. He gave a kil speech sayi g thow he wished he could have samg longer....omg everyone was crying. You ciuld hear the crying over clapping.
Barry was not just a great singer but also a master composer
OMG THAT VOICE! My favorite song of his…❤❤❤❤
The world is so very different without Barry😢😢😢
Loved your reaction 👏👏👏
Going back to the oldies. Love hearing them and Barry's deep sexy voice.
Check out Barry White and Lisa Stansfield duet... "I've Been Around the World". They were great together!

Barry White was a the precursor to the Disco era.
He was the godfather of disco.
Baby making music this certainly was that type, Marvin Gaye also performed this type of music.
Everything back in those were all real people playing instrument.
Lol it sounds like the people's court judge Milian 😂

The only musicians was Teddy Pendergrass that who Barry White sound like.
Luther Vandross
Ace, concerts were with bands. If they were solid bands.
I think you're alluding to a show called The People's Court, however this is not the same rhythm.

The "string era", 1968-1979...killed off quickly in 1980 by synth..😐👎
