"I am Brahman" without the "I"

  • When you say 'I' it contains a belief, namely your borrowed identity. That 'I' is connected with a whole story about yourself. The thought "I am Brahman" will free you from your habitual state of confusion. Yet, that declaration implies duality. You still remain as the advanced seeker who has intellectually understood that you are neither the mind nor the body, but the supreme Reality. Now contemplate the same thought having completely dropped the 'I'. “I am Brahman” without the 'I'. In that moment, in the absence of yourself, it is all recognized.
