I wish this was more clear in the rulebook, but yes (page 56 of the 11th printing) "Elves can cast spells as wizards do." I take this statement to affirm that spellburn, corruption, mercurial magic, spell-duels, INT as modifier for casting, all work the same for Elves as it does for Wizards.
hi! at 6:15 you're mentioning the luck modifier as part of a spell check. i was baffled. what version of the rules is this? it's not in the german translation and not in the Goodman Games 8th printing that i both just checked. perculiar.
Hi Thanks for the comment! I just double checked, This video was made using 8th printing rules. Check out page 57 and page 106 both mention that the luck modifier can be applied to a spell check. At least it is in the English version :-)
Elves are not wizards, but sorcerers. Wizards are people that actively train to learn magic, not people who are natural spell casters as sorcerers are.
Does elves have acess to spellburn, corruption, mercurial magic, spell-duels, INT as modifier for casting?

Is there high magic for Elves in DCC? Or no distinction, magic is just magic, dame spells and mechanics?
yep.. same mechanics
