That's a really slick setup, Jeff. It looks like it also allows you to hold the gun at angles you couldn't before. At first I thought it wouldn't be an HVLP system but then you explained that it was feeding paint and the turbines were still atomizing.

Great looking rig~! i can see how that simplifies spraying, especially when you have numerous pieces to paint/stain/varnish/etc... Also not as clumsy with the material cup attached to the sprayer head, so no more bumping into the piece being sprayed and can get into tighter spots. I love it~!
Extra points for that high-tech, pocket-hole screw hanger system~! ;-)
Jeff, if you ever get to looking for a side-gig to the shop, you could do voiceovers or presentations for advertising. You sound like a pro~!
    Thanks guys~!

Can you talk about the daily cleanup of that rig?

Nice job man. I've got the Q5 and a pressure pot but I've never used the pot because I don't want the hassle of cleaning it. You may have convinced me since I just finished a spray job that I had to refill my 22oz PPS cups at least 8 times. 🎯

Great video as always. Is the primer your using water based? I had a project where I sprayed water base and it raised the fibers in the Mdf bad. It took alot of sanding/ multi coats to get the surface ready. I read that it’s better to use an oil based primer on Mdf. Thanks again for all the videos!
