Lady you hit the nail right on the head! The reason some of feel so inadequate and so dependent on outside approval is because they put so much emphasis on achieving greatness at a young age. And now we’re just all struggling to make up for something impossible (for us) that we’ve already failed at. But our worth is inherent. No one can take that away from us. No one should have the power to say we aren’t good enough and have a tangible effect on us. Those people who achieved all those things early may have been suffering a great deal on the inside.

I loved your talk at the end there like I was the same way about age and getting a book deal, etc. Def when you pass the arbitrary age(s) you put so much pressure on yourself to get alllll the goals by it's like 'oh, I'm okay and it's okay' and it really is so freeing. Thanks for sharing that!
