    much easier to follow, especially with the "drag n drop" technique. other tutorial videos only asked the user to copy n paste the path. by demonstrating the "drag n drop" approach, it educates the user the process behind the commands. thank you for that.

  • @westfield90
    @westfield90 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just did this and have to say this was the clearest and easiest commands out of all the dozens of videos on TH-cam. The fact that you just dragged those files into the terminal window is incredible and saved having to type in those commands or copy and paste them into the window was brilliant. Cannot thank you enough.

    Words can't describe how happy I am to have stumbled over you video. I have been trying various things various websites told me to but I could not really do what was supposed to be done. Now with your video I can do it because it is kept simple and most important of all - understandable! Thanks and subscribed!

    Thank you. Like your previous comment, I searched many blog articles about this topic to no avail. Your video quickly explained how to get Sierra installed on the USB to boot from and it worked 100%. Awesome!

    VERY easy to follow. Drag and drop and no downloading any useless third party apps. Fun to do within the terminal itself. Thank you.

    WOW I love youtube... you learn so much. Ive just sold my iMac and really needed to create a bootable USB. This was excellent. I erased the H-Drive from the disk utilities once booted up holding Option. Then after erasing the drive I installed a fresh clean version of Sierra and I have one happy person with an awesome iMac clean and ready to rock his world :D

    Thank you so much! I was going crazy about my Macbook Pro 2014 because as i wanted to upgrade it from Maverics to Sierra and it got stuck during the installation process and didn´t knew what to do because nothing worked... But thanks to your video and a friend of mine i was able to get a fresh installation of Sierra.
    Greetings from Germay

    You are brilliant, saw something like this once for Mountain Lion I think, but this just clear and simple makes it possible without any 3rd apps. And I am Sooorh tired of pages with wrong kodes .. which lead me to a question: When the terminal finishes.. then you just hit (cmd)+(q), or you actually write exit in the terminal? And then if it saves your history.. after many faulty attempts to understand the path and how this works try and fail with terminal.. can it harm the os on my machine? is there a correct way to do these things.. like ?

    Hi there,
    thank you very much for your video, it is really interesting, but I have a problem before I can install this system. The problem is, that I don't have another MacBook, which supports macOS Sierra. I have an (iMac earlier 2008) and I want to install the macOS Sierra on it. Is there any way to do that or not?
    I would be so happy, if you answered me.

      Yeah it erases the drive. If you have anything important on your computer or the drive you should have it backed up. I watched a few videos before that and yeah everything i have is important so i have it saved to 3 places. Hard drives are not stable
