I bought a 2017 Jeep Wrangler unlimited four door trail rated model and it's been an absolute tank of a vehicle . I haven't changed anything to it and honestly I don't believe I will. The year after I purchased it we had a record breaking snow storm in my area which dumped 38 inches of snow and even with the stock Goodyear wrangler all terrain radial tires it had absolutely no problems driving in the deep snow in four wheel high mode without spinning the tires . I actually pulled my neighbor's Hemi equipped 4 wheel drive Ram 1500 four door out of a ditch on the side of the road with ease . There was so much snow on the road I was pushing it with my Jeep's front bumper 😳 . If I had to make a complaint it would be about the sound system. The stereo is fine but the speakers in the jeep sound terrible and it's not nearly loud enough to even drown out the road noise . I honestly would have thought a $50 thousand dollar vehicle would do better. But other than that I still currently have the jeep and to date there is no visible rust anywhere on the body as well as the undercarriage. The engine and transmission and transfer case are working flawlessly. I'd really love to trade it in for a brand new Jeep pickup truck but when I speak to the Jeep Wrangler pickup truck owner's to ask them how they feel about their vehicle they all tell me to keep my wrangler unlimited and that they wish they kept their original jeep wranglers instead of trading them in for the new pickup truck jeeps. That they've had problems with the door latches amongst other electrical issues and they all stated that the 3.6 engine in the wrangler felt much more powerful and was more efficient than the new pickup. So it's a shame because I really like the new Jeep pickup and I really would like to buy one but I think I'll just wait until the issues are ironed out before pulling the trigger on it 👍
It's no longer a Jeep, but a car. It's made like a car. Unlike my TJ, roll this thing and it has to go to a body shop (which will then be totaled). The single wall steel of my Jeep is easily repairable and has been after landing on its top and side in Moab. Nor can you grind the roll bar against the rocks exiting Hells Revenge with your doors off because it will destroy the body work that exists between the doors. And that dash, get caught out on the trail in a downpour and that dash is going to be toast. It's a highly capable SUV, but it's so left behind the utility of a Jeep as it's become a car.

I cant believe I sold my perfect9good jeep for a new piece of crap. Worst investment ever as soon as I pay it off I'm trading it in for a Toyota
