I have the normal lebron 21s and they’re literally the best shoe I’ve ever hooped in, traction is incredible and I play on dusty courts. I’m a big guard that puts a lot of force into the shoes and lots of fast powerful footwork

When you've got dozens, if not hundreds of shoe reviewers in the internet, you have to have something unique to offer. And that's what's great about this channel: 1. He's a foot doctor. 2. He goes into the technical details of a shoe. 3. He puts a score in the review. I personally prefer a quantifiable justification of what's good in a product I'm getting. At the end of the day, it will be subjective, but it's a really good guide for those who want to make the most out of their hard earned money.

I don't care what nobody say, I copped this today and hoop in them, and they are definitely an elite shoe in my opinion, the traction really do work in any court condition and also it is squeaky but the one thing that suprised me the most was how light they were and how easy I was able to do the moves I wanted to do because of this shoe. I didn't experience any stiffness eventhough I tighted the laces very well. At first I was in doubt when I was in the store if are they gonna be good, but definitely trusted my gut and really happy with the purchase. AND I also have pairs of the OG lebron 21's so before anyone says I couldn't compare both lol.. I hoop on my tahitian pair before and they were good but my only issue is they were a little bit heavy. I will definitely keep this in my rotation.
4:51 I can confirm that the gameday pro helped me break these in after 3/4 hours. Horrendous cramping for the first 2/3 hours and then just amazing, no pinching from the uppers at all even on the revised design

The uppers of these look better, but they are so uncomfortable compared to the initial release of the 21 (I know I'm just parroting Zach). When the Leather or suede breaks in on the original, it conforms and hugs your foot. One of the best feeling shoes. There is no breaking in the plastic feeling caging of the updated version. If you have a high arch, absolutely forget about it. It'll feel like you've put your foot into a colorful prison, and actually the bounce from the zoom units pushes your foot into the uppers more whenever you jump. My feet have never felt so bad after trying to break these in.
Keep doing what your doing, I always look forward to the cutting in half of the shoe its like the desert to end the night after a the main course haha, love your channel

The 21 reimagined are incredibly tight around the toes. My right pinky toe takes so much punishment even after a short time wearing them. Wish I would have gone at least a .5 size up. The og 21’s are perfect fitting at TTS. What a big issue this is though…

The OG 21s are hard enough to break in, even going up 1/2 size. The length & width are OK, but low forefoot height is crushing my big toes. If the new 21s are even stiffer, they're a hard pass for me. Shoes shouldn't be such a hassle, and Nikes tend to fit me the worst. NB's Two Wxy V3 & V4 fit me much better in the same size.

Man I’ve played a few games in the updated Lebron 21 “optimism” and they are STIFF!! I wish I had this when I first purchased. Don’t feel like I get much foot flex. I also wear vivo barefoot shoes most of my other days so for the stiffness I’d pass

The 21s feels too heavy on my foot (I know it’s just slightly heavier in weight) , 20s are way better, I think the tongue and laces are the problem and they hurt my feet.
No idea- havent gotten the 2's on my feet yet- my guess is the 2's are going to be good but that doesn't mean the 1's still wont be plus they're on deep discount now

In the Philippines, as a child, I played basketball in flip flops a lot on the streets because I could not afford any basketball shoes. Now I’m in my 40’s, I have lots of knee and foot pain. Could playing in flip flops as a child and in my teens have contributed to that?

Yeah a few- i usually use an apollo space capsule shaped adhesive pad on the inside but I also will have a video on this coming soonish with some products made specifically for this releasing soon
