When you showed the the chart that you think it runs like I was so happy and went ahead with the purchase 😂 I like to go fast and I like the feeling of having too much power 😂
Nice vid rewiew! Sorry my ignorance but... how do I start riding the scooter? I swing forward and press and hold the button (on the right side down without releasing) and nothing happens... Was there something missing that I had to do...? I have everything connected and installed. Thank you in advanced.
I am awaiting delivery of a Yadea Elite Prime so maybe for once you will be jealous of me instead of the other way around! I already have an m365 scooter and on that I modified it to incorporate a twist grip. I'm not very good at that sort of thing but it was fairly easy to do. Never mind the curve of the throttle, what worries me about your video is the stickiness of it. Maybe something as simple as WD40 would cure that without wrecking it? Anyway, I will let you get back to your pocket three now... Edit - how to create a twist grip. Pull off existing grip. Cut off about 2cm at the outside end of the removed grip. Find a bit of plastic or other tubing which will replace the original grip but which will be loose enough to rotate freely. Cut out to a length so that when you fit it on the handlebar you can then put the 2cm bit of the original on the end to stop the rotating bit from falling off. Now find a bit of bendy metal, like a lolly stick but metal, and cut and bend it so that when you bind it tightly onto the rotating grip using tennis racket handle tape, or similar, the bent metal thing will project onto the thumb throttle and push on it like a metal thumb when you rotate the grip. Done! The neat thing is that you can rotate the grip the other way if you want so the metal bit is completely clear of the throttle, and revert to thumb control whenever you want to. Cheers!
I searched for the Elite Prime and clicked the first video on TH-cam and there you were; the top commenter. That looks like a terrific scooter. I wish I could try it to see what the differences are when going up that much higher on the scale. I imagine it's extremely comfortable and at 1,500 watts peak, extremely fast! Funny that it has so much power, but is limited to 18.6mph. I wonder what the theoretical top speed would be without that limit. Any idea?
@@Roos-Reviews I confess I don't know the answer. The Prime seems designed for legality and safety, and for acceleration and hill climbing rather than speed. I backed the project on Indiegogo back in April - many have been delivered in the USA and Europe but they are still awaited in Australia - should be soon! The backer price was less than half what they are now charging. In fact, the backer price is remarkably similar to the Pocket 3- you can choose the tiny camera, or the damn big scooter for the money! Where I live, if the scooter can go faster than 25km/hr, it's illegal. And you can actually lose your car licence for infringements. So I'm perfectly happy with the leisurely top speed, cruising past cops who would only be able to grind their teeth, not flash their lights! I will probably put up some kind of review when it finally arrives, focussing on hill climbing in comparison to the sundry other devices I seem to have collected. And look on the bright side - spring is here and e-scooter summer weather is on its way!
@Ozpeter Where I live, scooters, ebikes without pedals, electric skateboards and unicycles are not allowed on public roads or pavements. There's only one province I know of that actually arrests people for using them. But still, what a terrible law. When I scoot to the park in my solar-charged scooter rather than drive, I'm doing less harm to the environment and posing less risk to pedestrians. Privately owned scooters are also banned in the UK, yet rentables are legal.
Well, seeing as you're clearly rich and I am super jealous, plus Christmas is coming up and all, how's about you gift me your old junk scooter for the holidays? 😅
Yeah that crude accelerator knob is really a deal-breaker for me - and I must admit I'm a sucker for full suspension. But at $370, I think that's a bit unreasonable to demand. Be the way, was that the HoverAir X1 you were putting to good use for those aerial shots? Seriously beautiful review for such a so-so gadget.
Dang, methinks I'll have to order one of those too. You'd better find a lot of cons with the Pocket 3 or I'll soon be headed for debtor's jail. @@Roos-Reviews
I bought one completly new for 500$ locked it today was gonna unlock it and wont connect in the app on no phones with my account that its bound to. Got usless locked scooter
this is the most atmospheric video I've ever seen about my scooter, thank you friend
Thank you for that kind comment.

I got mine to take when we’re at campground camping. Paid 250$ for it at target on sale. I’m sure it will do what I want with a beer holder on bars. 😂
Love your reviews. Top job 👍

Just tap the power button a couple times and change the mode to S Mode that will unlock the speed to 32 kilometers per hour

I got one here I used to took it to work place
Can you please do a video of Navee v50? :)
I don't have that one, sorry.
@@Roos-Reviews oh it's fine :(
You know how put more speed?
Are you in Canada? Is the speed 32kmh here in canada?
Sonic speed!
Anyone knows how to unlock it s 32km/h speed in European models ! It s stuck at 20km/h it s so slow 😫
As far as I know, nobody has been able to decrypt the firmware in order to edit it, unfortunately.
So what scooter do you love?
The one that made rave anthems in the 90s.
Is it worse than a dual suspension?
where is the pocket 3 review?
I'm editing it right now.
Im thinking of getting a NAVEE ELECTRIC KICK SCOOTER V40 BLACK but i mainly gonna ride it in a private area but how do i unlock its max speed
I bought one completly new for 500$ locked it today was gonna unlock it and wont connect in the app on no phones with my account that its bound to. Got usless locked scooter
I can ride mine, but I'm locked out of the app, so I can't adjust any settings. To this day the company will not help me resolve it.
You should really wear a helmet.
You're right, I really should.
@@Roos-Reviews I don’t want to lose such a good reviewer. One of the few I trust.
Unless you have a big life insurance
battery chemistry
How can I increase speed
You will need to break the firmware's encryption and modify the code. As far as I know, no one has been able to do this yet.
It dosent go 30 km/h it only goes 20km/h
The top speed is 20 miles per hour. That is 32 kilometres per hour. In some European countries the speed is restricted to much less.
