Don’t skip on the aphid slippers
When collecting grass or especially dandelion stems carry the storage pallet with you. That way you can place it on the ground near the resources you are collecting. Chop resources. Fill pallet and fill your shoulder carry. Relocate the pallet. Now you can move a lot of resources in one go back to your base. Rather than running back and forth every time carrying only 5 planks or stems (at low level with no good armour). Also a full set of Red Ant Armour (easy to get in early game) will increase how many planks and stems you can carry on your shoulder. Mutations can also increase this amount a very pleasing amount.
I played at early access up until a while ago on Xbox/Pc and knew this but wished the pallets would finally hold more, because it's barely even half the height of a pallet. But I've heard Obsidian is done with this game, content updates and no dlc at all. That's why they sent it to Ps5. 😢
I crafted the red ant armor as my first set and skipped the clover armor. It’s my first play through. I’d agree it’s not hard to get early.
Mites appear annoying and are, when they swarm you, but if you can get a single one isolated, you can use its low damage and unique way to attack to practise perfect blocking (golden sparks). Use different weapons, because the all have their own swing time and timing of blocking is slightly different. You can also unlock a mutation that helps with blocking in the future!
Place a water collector under the straws of juice boxes to collect juice droplets when travelling around the yard, and build a dew collector at your base. I also recommend paralisers grounded tips video
see that big brown spider? go give it a hug, it will be fun
LMAO!
I died 😭😭😭😭😭😭🖕
When your early game build your base at the oak tree, all the most important early game resources are there and your also next to the pond which is very important also 😀
The best tip is play whoa mode
also another tip you could give about upgrading weapons is to not upgrade tier 2 gear past lv 5 because you are wasting sturdy quartzite shards this video is gonna help alot of people starting grounded hope they have a good time with this game
What about ladybug armour cuz I still use it in late game and I’ve defeated EVERY BOSS multiple times including the infected Broodmother, Mantis, Director Shmector, Wasp queen, hedge broodmother, and the assistant manager so why not upgrade it???
@@tradgedybot4058 i said a tip about upgrading weapons cause yeah ladybug armor is the goat but people should go sleek with it
@@tradgedybot4058doesn’t mean it’s the best armor. 30% increased healing, a really slow health regen buff, and more block strength isn’t that great compared to the t3 armor
almost 50 hours played and never knew the anthill chip gives you a bandage upgrade :o
Just a random find is if you use a salt mace to kill aphids you get jerky instead of meat
This applies to all salt infused weapons as well
spikey sprig is one of if not the best early game weapon it can carry u pretty far into the game (i used mine till the sandbox) it has bleed status effect for damage over time
one of the best weapons hands down
Thanks for the amazing tips 🙏🏻
Love it, although I knew all of this, I still watched the whole thing xd
“Be brave” I love it
Also ladybugs are strong as well as sickly roly polys and sometimes whatever is attacking you will hit one and then you will probably get free resources unless it's a black ox beetle or a wolf spider verses a ladybug
Notice a ladybug might be stronger than a wolf spider but I didn't see that fight yet however it can last a while fighting the entire red ant army
Play smarter not harder blocking can be tricky if you have low lvl weapon so take the high ground and kill that wolf spider or whatever enemy so you get a better equipment then go and try to be brave
Why hello there CD! 😎
I think you should get armor as soon as possible You can get one shot very easily
Especially on WOAH mode. Get busy living or get busy dying. XD
3 DAYS BRODDAS 3 DAYS TILL FINAL UPDATE
My boyfriend and I are doing a playthrough. We're both new so it's a good experience. Well not really good more so scary and he doesn't have arachnophobia like I do so when I first met a spider I booked it out of there so fast. Anyways while we were looking for the hedge lab we ended up finding a tunnel with web all around it. My boyfriend said "yup balls deeping this one. You either follow me in there and help or wait for me out here" yeah we ended up dying but it was a fun death.
Been avoiding the spiders for the longest I stuck to the red ants till I got the club....it will tear a spider up 😂 I go spider hunting and I have yet to take burgl the red ant chip
Pro tip play whit friends 😂😂
3 DAYS BROTHERS
It's on my Switch mocking me. Just waiting
I've already called dibs on the ant queen armor in my friend group 😂
i tried breaking the marble and quartzite with the tier 1 hammer and it now says it needs tier 2
That's the tier 2 rock upgrades and soon enough you will find the tier 3!
Saying you can kill any creature in the game with just the peblet axe and perfect parry isn't quite right. Think of something like a stinkbug that does AOE damage and poison. You can't parry that.
But you can use armor or smoothies to prevent that
Any chance for recommend any good base spots?
For early game, I recommend the baseball since it is near your spawn and you don't need a respawn point, you could just respawn at kidcase. Another good spot is on the tree. Ground enemies can't get you and you have a good sap collection area
Any base near a field station is best imo
Height is always an advantage. Firstly it protects from insects bothering you. Secondly it allows easier implementing of zipline once you unlock them (go to the Hedge Lab and find the Burgle chip, then take it back to Burgle in the Oak Lab). I have a main base next to the field station near the Mystery Machine. There is an area with a small cliff that prevents attacks from three directions if you build on top of it. My other main base is above the Whelp Flavored drink between the pond and the Oak tree. On the pond side of the can there is a root that shoots straight up from the soil and curls around on itself. Using the triangle stem scaffolds I made a platform attached to the very tip of the curled root. That platform has become a three story house with balcony's. Non of it touches the ground. I am playing WOAH mode but it's an old save and the building integrity is off. I don't know if it's possible to build at this location with building integrity turned on. Yeah. Nay. Maybe. A little bit. Recourses nearby are very plentiful however a Wolf Spider does prowl the area directly around the can at night. I also have around a dozen other small camps and resource collection platforms in various places around the map, either to access rare recourses or to have somewhere safe to stay in a location teaming with hostile insects. And then there is my Ant Tower. Located on a rock very close to the Red Ant Hill. Currently it's over 200 floors and growing. Why? Science!
Wish they had tier 3 bandages
Word
Another pro tip, just be better
Yipiiiiiiii
Pro tip parry
I play custom game mode only... chilling 😂
Yeep
Collect springs at the beginning of the game
Now US Ps Players Know How To Play
Pro tip, don't suck
