NI still has the absolute worst Customer Support in the history of the music industry. they have so many idiots putting out fires on that DJ bullshit you cannot get an simple answer, or documentation of setting up Studio One, it must be a pissing match because they're not contracted with Presonus, cuz they dont say shit about it anywhere in Doc or website that I'm aware of...
NI says Komplete S Kontrol/keyboards and Komplete bundles work with any DAW. I decided to buy Studio One 3 Pro but after I read all these coments here I'm not sure anymore. Does'nt Presonus support the problems mentioned here in this forum?

no, that's it's purpose. it's a pain in the ass. KORE was a better product. they dumped it without giving two shits about the ppl that dumped a ton on those expansions...and that absurdly expensive hardware.
Have you tried using the new MK2 S49 Midi Keyboard by NI with Studio One 3? I'm finding it very difficult to use the MK2. Almost seems as if the MK2 is not compatible.
hi,I know fl studio have problems with chords and arpegio recording from komplete. Can i record arp/chords midi information from komplete to the studio one without any other plugins and "tricks", just select my vst and taping on the rec button?
When I load Maschine, I'm unable to use the Kontrol S88. Do you have a workflow that includes both? I have to switch inputs on channels in order to switch between the two.
NI is so fucked. Maschine crashes Logic, Maschine & Kontrol won't work in Presonus, they cannot be that stupid, it's a disincentive to not use Studio One...

It's discontinued. Second hand units might exists, but be warned there were lots of people who had issues with it connecting correctly and Native Instruments are still poor in customer service to help you if you bought one.
Very nice love the sounds of the omnisphere. I'm pretty new at this. I have a Korg X50 - do you think I need a new controller as well ( i also have a small toy Irig keys)?
The Korg X50 is 16-part multi-timbral and you would be able to use it as a midi controller as well. So sounds from your X50 plus Omnisphere would be great. You might not get the control like a dedicated modern controller, but have a play and you might be find that you only need your X50 to get your work done.
Cool. I'll move slowly and let the needs grow on me.. I love my X50 and i'll go for the omnisphere. I am planning mostly to do electronics music so this sounds like a good setup then. Thanks.
the Krome is a great workstation...the Korg Legacy Analog & Digital suites are must haves, all existing expansion cards included...man it is sweet. dirt cheap now...
Omnisphere and the new Keyscape expansion is an awesome collection, you cannot possibly beat the power of that synth. I don't know of anything that's in the same ballpark....unless you want pure synthesis without sampled sources...it's a beast.
its really bad that it can only use midi or usb...not the 2 ....just dont get it ...for me dosent work becouse i need to control a hardware synth and be conected to a computer to play and use the soft squencer....and only works in one midi chanell...its really hard to get what they were tinking wen they creat this
I wish Native would just make all their stuff integrate with all the major DAWs....instead of trying to get us to like maschine etc... ide love this keyboard but do all the maschine expansions work seamlessly in logic or fl... they would open up more buyers if all their stuff would just integrate with a click... MPC and maschine are cool, and old school, I am also considered old school but lets move up to the times, ... I prefer looking at a timeline when making a beat and not the PC or Maschine way...
Once had the K6 bundle,had an impossible time installing it and it was only from the help of a Presonus S1 user on the Presonus forum,that I was able to sort it out,as NI's customer "support"...is nonexistent.When I changed to a different PC,I again,was plagued with installation issues and registration issues and I never got it sorted out and I threw the whole disc set in the trash...NEVER AGAIN,will I go near NI.
yep. the Kontrol keyboards are in a class by themselves, they just updated it with like 100 new scales and other features that you may never need, but they will expand your mind musically. this is no bullshit, it is the best MIDI keyboard ever made. NKS is fast becoming the industry leader in a 3rd party automapping format. it crushes Novation.

Just get Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2, Nectar controller and Studio One..deadly combination. Love it.
