  • Since I was a child I have witnessed the "ritual" of foraging the famous truffle, every year I would join my grandad on this exiting expedition, you need to have patience thought. You will normally find this in the "softer" soils, according to my grandad, plowed 2/3 years ago and with "new weeds".
Since the Roman times that the truffles have been a much appreciated delicacy, and can reach truly exorbitant prices, but here we just forage it for our bellies. I thought It would be nice to showcase this experience.

I thought that truffles grows like mushrooms. Its more like potatoes. Also how did grandad sees it?! Looks like a pile of dirt to me. It's amazing that you guys could eat truffles just by picking up some from your garden. Also loves how you guys makes such a simple dish for such an delicacy. Sometimes good food doesn't have to be complicated.

Exactly it's more like a potato than anything else, the flavour doesn't have anything similar to a potato thought it's a strange thing 😂😂 True, why complicate things ✌️

Because they are only available during a short period of the year, no everyone knows how to find them, only available in certain areas of the country and in a in a low quantity. So it’s a special kind of rare thing 🙃🙃
