M&S in the Walworth road closes down next month, June 2024, after 113 years at that site.
Not the most beautiful part of London, but judging from the comments this walk was greeted from viewers with every bit as much enthusiasm as the aesthetically more pleasing areas. This goes to show it’s worth filming away from the obvious tourist spots sometimes.

This one gave me all the feels! You walked right past the Airbnb I lived in for two months back in 2018! Elephant & Castle always felt like the equivalent of Harlem here in NYC, and maybe that's why I like it so much. Now it's always where I stay when I visit. There's this really charming cafe in that neighborhood, the Electric Elephant -- I hope it's still open! If it is and you haven't been, highly recommend 😊

I’ve always been intrigued by Elephant and Castle because I’ve seen it on buses so it’s nice to see a video on it.

I wonder how the residents who used to live in the Haygate
Estate feel if they are watching this? They were pushed out of the place they called home and I wonder if any of them were allowed to go back to the new flats?
Unfortunately a lot of Council or ex council estates go the same way. I'm sure quite a few wanted to get out anyway. You would be surprised how many people there are out there who spend a lot of their time making life hell for everyone else on estates. Don't assume everyone living there is happy.
