Glenn Rhee [80's nerd] I’m so sad that everyone seems to be totally forgotten in Season 3 and Season 4. You only hear a brief mentions about Kenny, Jane and Rebecca. To me characters in Season 2 had a huge impact.
I always chose Kenny over Jane. Jane wasn't capable of taking care of Clem and AJ, she wouldn't be strong enough for the both of them when they needed her help, like when we found out about her baby. Kenny was just trying to keep Clem safe, because she was his reason to live. He has lost everyone, and being able to get the chance to try again, with Sarita and Clem, he felt that he might actually have a chance, but he felt too overprotective of the both of them because he didn't want them to end up like Duck and Katja. I think that going through what he has would explain his reactions to everything. In a world where the only thing that matters is family, his top priorities are to keep the people he loves the most safe. In the end of the game, he told Clem to leave him and take AJ to Wellington, knowing that they would be safe from the outside world there, and that he wouldn't be able to save them every time. When you are watching that scene, you can tell that Kenny just wants to have a purpose in the horrible world that has become his to live. His purpose was to give Clem the best life he could, and he did that. I still cry watching that scene, because I know he is giving up everything that he has left, but he does it for her. He says that he won't look back, because he knows that he would change his mind. He puts away his feelings and does what's best for them. Even if you chose to go with him, in the third game in a flashback, it is shown that he ends up paralyzed yet tells Clem to take AJ and run. As he screams in agony you can almost hear the pride in his voice. He had saved Clem up until his last breath, and now he would be able to see Duck and Katja again. Kenny has consistently shown when he has others with him, he has purpose in his heart to protect them and keep on going. Leaving him robbed him of that purpose. Sarita even told us that when he was alone, he wasted away and almost died. Luke cared for Clem and AJ, but he would never truly be happy taking care of them. He wanted to have a companion, like Jane, but to keep the kids safe that would be the only thing he could focus on. He didn't have the strength in him to save others. He could try, but no matter what, he would give in, and he would have to carry on for himself. In the apocalypse, you can only trust yourself to live, nobody else, but Kenny would give his life, as he did, for Clem and AJ. Honestly, Kenny was redeemed for what he had done, and he showed more love than imaginable in the times they are going through. Kenny is the most protective and deeply caring character I have ever seen in a game. He had a great purpose and served it well. Even thought there is a choice where you never know what happens to him, I'd like to believe that he makes it to find another person to help until he can no longer do so. If anything, Kenny is the best father you could ever ask for in an apocalypse like this.
Jane was just like Lily, some thick headed bitch that had no sense of decency. She was willing to put an infant in danger to “prove a point”. No matter how accurate the point is...Kenny was a changed man... but my history with him was what made me let him stab that bitch in the heart. BEST choice I made in the game and felt no remorse.
***** I feel that his death wasn't good enough for the character ya know? Maybe like Bonnie or Mike. It sucks to because he was just talking about out of all the people he knew were dead and he is the only one left.
Luke was a really good character like really good their will never be no one like him in this game😭except for lee😩 it should of been like Kenny Clem & the baby😢 i cried when Luke died but when lee died i was sad!!
Started playing TWDG with my girlfriend, she absolutely loves the series and wanted to fit me into this universe, me as a guitar player am now in a personal journey to learn this song and sing to her. Nina if you're reading this, this one is for you my gothic angel
Kenny is a struggling psycho and will end up hurting Clem if she continued with him. Jane would do anything to protect Clem now but in the end would leave her, so I went off alone.
Norman Jayden Always hated Kenny. I liked Jane better then Kenny only cause she taught Clem some valuable things instead of beating up a little boy and getting pissed off at everyone, but still went off alone cause Jane isn't trustworthy.
+Norman Jayden i went of alone, one of my fav characters was kenny but I knew he was a phsyco. I got so angry irl with Jane I just left her. I got to a point a few days after where i was gonna restart and go with Jane but that removes the point of the game.
This song has taught me to never hide my emotions, we never always fit in, things are scary and to let it all out once in a while.. 2021 has been a year full of loss for me and this helped me cope.
+BEAT- STIX11 I'm so mad about Luke, man... I played the game today (I know what happens cause I've watched people playing it), I cried half the episode, ...fucking Jane and Kenny
Quvenzhané Wallis could play Clem physically. But, honestly, all the voice actors would need to dub over the voice of the physical actor if it were someone different. They're just too perfect in the roles.
Crazy how a game can. Get so in bedded in our souls Telltales the walking dead and the last of us Were the two most memorable games that have made me cry
Hearing Luke's precious and wonderful singing voice after finishing this season just hits so differently and deeply. He is the most emotional, relatable and heartwarming character ever in the series. The cabin group and their leader (Luke) deserved better than having the writers to root against them simply out of spite and wanting Clem and Kenny to have a happy ever after ending (which is “the best” resolution out of all of them admittedly but that's not saying much because they are all crappy and unsatisfying, both Wellington's and Howe's, and Clem being alone even though most people chose that). This song always touches my soul no matter how many times I listen to it. It's so beautiful with its meaningful lyrics. In my opinion season 2 is the most human season and possibly the most successful one because it dealt with morals and sometimes very hard and difficult choices even if the storytelling isn't the greatest or didn't make sense with its glaring plot holes later on. It's so depressing and sad, almost everyone dies in it or goes missing and are never seen or heard from ever again within the Walking Dead game timeline. It's upsetting. I wish there was more of a consistency in it. Season 4 makes the same mistakes all over again.
Replaying these games just now! The nostalgia really hits me hard! They are straight up masterpieces, just like this song! Gives me the chills to this day, just as much as it did back when the game released!
This is a truly beautiful song, it is amazing how people get caught into all the rap and pop music all the time, but they don't realize the true beauty in these songs. I believe this song is talking about how life is like living in water, as a human, we cant live forever, we die pretty quickly in water, just as in life and we struggle against "the tide" (not meaning to get dark). And the "His eyes... His eyes are full of love, forgive them, release them.." part, I have no idea but my suggestion is a man died, but he was a loving man, but he also did bad things so we need to forgive what he has seen and done, and we need to release him, maybe? Idk...
Man, it's been 9 years since you commented.. But still I want to give you my perspective about that line and the whole song in general. I feel like this line talks about Jesus, bc he died for us out of Love to redeem us. And the line "nothing amends for what we've done, tainted blood" fits in with that perspective too. About the Water... I think it symbolize the world and how it isnt our real home and we just try not to drown in the evil of this world... For me this Christian perspective makes alot of Sense and every line fits in this topic. Man I Love this Song, and the Game was one of the best I've ever played.
This song really tore me apart I can't stop crying... my sister committed suicide by drugs December 25 2018 and left my precious nephew and all of us behind such powerful words and heartbreaking at the same time … what a Phenomenal song R.I.P. Jessica I will love and miss you for the rest of my life :'(
After playing TWD, I used to listen to this a lot when going on long walks during the middle of the day during Autumn when I had days off from university. It was always so grey and empty outside, since everyone was at work or school. I used to pretend I was the only one left in the World whilst listening to this, until a car would drive by and ruin the illusion.

This song perfectly fitted this episode, the thoughts that Clementine has that she misses everyone from her old group especially Lee, and putting him out of his misery (Determinant) makes her hurt on the inside even more. All these walking dead feels.
IXAwokenBladeXI I couldn't shoot him. It seemed so wrong. But yeah, the song fits the end of the first episode perfectly, with the river flowing and all.
xChasingSilhouettes It most likely is. Because Clementine doesn't have a reason to think anyone else is dead. Omid and Christa witnessed Kenny's ''death'' and probably told her that he was dead.
I used to like her too, when she was that innocent girl; but I just played season 3 and man... she’s completely different; as for me, I don’t like this grown up Clementine that much. I think it was better when she was just Lee’s sweet pea.
I just found this: "As a result we expect the developers to take a little more time to work on the first few episodes of Season 3, so that they won’t have to rush them out the door; with more preparation having been done before the first episode debuts in the first few months of 2015." "Everyone’s asking that question, and the short answer is 2016" Hope this is usefull You might be right, I dont know :-)
Telltale Games can make one hell of a story. If the quality of their walking dead series stays as good as it has so far, I don't care how long it takes them to release the episodes, it'll be worth it.
This song has a double meaning in the lyrics: Keeping your heart above the lie is the lie that people pretend everything is going to be OK, the lie that keeps everyone going and keeps them from losing Hope. The Lie also means the lie of the water: they are struggling against the deep tides, doing everything they can to keep from letting go and drowning in the end of the world.
Grandparents got me the Walking Dead for christmas.... Im so sad ... I miss Lee and his love for Clem... her life is so hard inagine growing up through this shit... just...wow
Reminds me so much of Luke... Honestly, he was one of the most nicest characters ever in Walking Dead, he was like a good big brother for Clementine... =(
This song fits perfectly with the aesthetic of the game. The beautiful vast pine forest with that still shot at the end credits of episode 1 powerful stuff.
This song reminds me of the material world as the water... And how we go against the flow of the divine...its a fight against the dark and overcoming it...to me at least.
This song keeps me crying, I always play this song while I play any post apocalyptic game. This song has taken me everywhere from the LA boneyard to afar harbor

Thomas Windfeld-Hansen You mean 2016 right? Just played the Series again, so im here again. I remember that they said 2016, not 2015.
I just found this:
"As a result we expect the developers to take a little more time to work on the first few episodes of Season 3, so that they won’t have to rush them out the door; with more preparation having been done before the first episode debuts in the first few months of 2015."
"Everyone’s asking that question, and the short answer is 2016"
Hope this is usefull
You might be right, I dont know :-)
Mario Telha theres a season 3?!!!! :OOO
Kenny - you always had my back, I'm with you till the end pal💙
I love that line
I LOVE the piano tunes... adds so much depth and atmosphere!
Fits just perfectly with episode 1.

Nearly cried at season 2 :( ( the walking dead ) poor clementine. But loved the music! Found it on shazam.
I always thought this song was perfect for the walking dead. Then I played TTs TWD and it blew my mind when I heard it.

Very apocalyptic themed song

Secret_Romance This song actually increases my Anxiety lol but I love it
Telltale Games can make one hell of a story. If the quality of their walking dead series stays as good as it has so far, I don't care how long it takes them to release the episodes, it'll be worth it.
''His eyes are full of love, forgive them''
Reminds me of Luke's eyes when he was knocking beneath the ice for help
Just came back here to listen to this song in 2020. No joke, super good song just in general.
The Beauty of music is that it is eternal everlasting. Always new to the unknown.
This is awesome :3
Thanks, TellTale!
When I hear this, it feels peaceful...like I'm floating away....this song is amazing.....thank you the walking dead!
this is the most beutyful song i have ever heard

TWD2 bought me here!
The song was made for TWD2, so basically, everyone :D
Daniel Beneš This song came out way before the game, there is a video of him in 2011 singing it on radio
Daniel Beneš
Wonder if it'll get worked into the end credits of an episode of the tv series, like a season finale or something.
Same here
me too :D
And repeat ....strange how a sad song can make you feel better
I love that almost everybody in the comments section is a twd fan. This reminds me of Luke.
Whos here from The Walking Dead???
Me, lol. The 4 credit songs from S2 and the one from S1E5, love em all
All of us.
@@fhldfhjwsgfjsk6719 sub2me for absolutely no reason

Yip me too,
This song literally gives me goosebumps
These lyrics are pure poetry
One of the most beautiful songs ever created...Makes me think my life all over, every time..
I love this song, and I love Lee, he will always be missed, that is my favorite game! :)
Oh man this song is the best!
Yep very suitable for twd games
This song is great.. wouldve never known about it if it wasnt the walking dead :)
This song just makes me want to cry.
I keep on thinking about my cat who died yesterday. Soon as he died this song I keep on hearing in my head.
Sorry for your loss, It never feels truly genuine, but I am honestly sorry...
Thank you. Means a lot to me ^^
***** Your Welcome :D
Reminds of my pet gecko. He was a viscious S.O.B, but damn it I loved the hell out of him.
Chase Jeffries xD I miss my Cat, she got taken from me cause she accidently scratched me trying to get another cat ;-;
I just finished playing the first episode of season two The Walking Dead. This song is amazing!
ikr
Ahhh it's been years since I heard this song and I can still sing every word ❤️
Me too!!
Masterpiece
Thank you so much Telltales....
I miss Lee and his love for Clem... her life is so hard inagine growing up through this shit... just...wow
Everytime I listen to this, I can't help but see Luke's lifeless corpse slowly drift away under that lake... 😔
Yep
This song needs way more views
goddammit the walking dead 2 credits got me hooked
This song reminds me of the material world as the water... And how we go against the flow of the divine...its a fight against the dark and overcoming it...to me at least.
I miss you Kenny...
Just hauntingly beautiful. I always picture miserable people trying to drown their sorrow only for the pain to scar deeper when I listen to this.
Honestly I think season 2 was the best season (at least in the sense that it gets you emotional and you form a better attachment to characters)
Amazing what music can do to you. For some reason this song brings tears to my eyes, I have no idea why!! It just sounds sad.
It brings me tears because I think about The Walking Dead:(
Truly amazing piece of work here, Great Job! :D
Had to find this after season 2 ep 1....God damn i never cried tears of joy before...Damn you Anadel.
I don’t know if anybody will see this but if you do we’re still here
I am here
This song keeps me crying, I always play this song while I play any post apocalyptic game. This song has taken me everywhere from the LA boneyard to afar harbor
