Was anyone else even surprised when they unlocked the Yeti? It blew my 7-year-old mind. If you’ve been keeping up with the channel, tomorrow’s video will be VERY surprising. EDIT: If you haven't patched the Gojirasaurus' AI yet, there's a link in the description for you to do so!
Saurian Target would you link me to where the gojirasaurus ai patch is, I still have the buggy ai version. The version in which it will do it's roar evrytime I shoot it
Gojirasaurus is also the name of a real species of dinosaur, yet the real one was actually a small dinosaur, rather like ceolophysis (I'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong)
The real Gojirasuarus was over 5 metres long with the hight of a human, not a small dinosaur. Consider it’s from the Triassic, it’s a large Theropod of its time.
If I make a Carnivores mod, I intended to make something so terrifyingly hellish that it can make even the best of the best hunters wiz themselves at the mere thought of the beast.
Im thinking, plague of madness style or night crawler style dino that starts actively hunting you after a short while Or go full body horror, flesh melting, teratoma rittled, twisted dinosaur with a roar that sounds like the scream of a thousand damned
The thunderbird's roar is a distorted version of RODAN'S roar. RODAN is a giant pterodactyl monster that was seen in a lot of GODZILLA movies. Also, for a brief second in the thunderbird's roar is a GHIDORAH roar, GHIDORAH is GODZILLA'S arch nemesis.
I love the final 2 for Carnivores: Mandibles, being the Giant sea scorpion and the initulus. The Jaek-ma-thingy is extremely fun to hunt since it's extremely tough and satisfying to bring down, while the initulus is one of the only creatures that takes away points due to its endangerment in the game's lore. Not to mention, the actual hive in the Hive map is amazingly done.
Is it the Inutiilis? That's the final creature on Mandibles. I was wondering what the radioactive remains were as I have only played this mod, and Carnivores 2.
Great video as always! I gotta say, when I first played Ice age, I was so confused when I saw that there was a 10th huntable. When I finally unlocked it, I was so scared to hunt it, the kill radius on that thing is ridiculous, but I've always loved his kill animation XD
Thanks Keegan! I know what you mean, the kill radius on the Yeti is crazy. I always imagined it was so huge because of the thing's massive arms being able to reach farther and grab the hunter, which made it even scarier. xD
I love this countdown! I have to agree with you about how epic the Gojirasaurus is as a bonus animal, but the Mantellodon is something I never knew existed in the Carnivores saga! To me the Mantellodon is tied with the Gojirasaurus as my number 1 favorite bonus animal.... at least until we know about the bonus animal in Mandibles.
Amazing video as always. I love the Top 5s and it was refreshing to see the official games pitted against fan content. The Yeti held up surprisingly well. It was a very pleasant surprise to see two of my creations on this list, and to see that the Gojirasaurus was both #1 on the list and a fan favorite in the comment section. Rest assured, its untimely death in the Eos Sector will not have been in vain. As for the Mantellodon- it was a truly fun challenge designing it. If there's ever going to be a sequel to Genesis in need for another bonus creature design, count me in!
I think the Yeti is proof that underdogs can stand a chance. xD Glad you enjoyed seeing some of your creations here on this list. Well-deserved positions, if you ask me. And if there's ever a sequel to Genesis with another secret animal, I'll be sure to contact you first!
Poharex hey man, I just want to ask you, does the Rex have harder hide than the gojirasaurus? Because you need to waste almost all your ammo to kill a rex without shooting the eye, but not gojirasaurus. Also, there is a real dinosaur called gojirasaurus but, it's rather small. I would rather call the gojirasaurus kaijusaurus or zillasaurus
Great video ,also love the new logo for the channel. The idea of bonus animals is something I've always found very enticing, and I wonder if the current iterations in the series may add more in the future.
Hey, good to hear from you! Glad you like the new logo, I thought it was about time I tried some originality for once. xD Yeah, I agree, bonus animals really pull you into finishing a game/mod, even if for the sole purpose of just unlocking the thing.
I've actually taken out the Thunderbird. And believe me, it wasn't easy. You need the scopped missle launcher and you need to be extremely close to kill it. Also, the Ultimasaurus is naked.... it's missing its back armor...
Despite the yeti originally being very cowardly I think that behaviour suited it. I mean in real life the yeti is a mystery and very very difficult to find and when people apparently do see one it vanishes it was kinda like that on the original ice age it was hard to find and when you did find one it ran off and vanished into the snow and if you got to close it beat the crap out of you haha so it kinda made sense to me anyway.
Hey Saurian,I think the gojirasaurus is my favorite I mean it looks so menacing and powerful especially with that radioactive DinoHunt.Corp logo on it ,the ultimasaurus is also my favourite because with the hide and that clubbed and spiked tail, trike head and large arms and sickle claws, wow, it stands as a worthy opponent for the indominus and lastly they are my favorites because both of them look so wicked! For the yeti I think what could have made it better would be if it had gorilla and orangutan calls combined I mean then it would fit its title as a huge, strong, hairy ape on the planet. Thanks as always saurian!Fantastic video!
I feel like the Carnivore series truly lack aquatic creatures, both in vanilla and modded games. If the creators can put crocodiles (like Deinosuchus) in swamps or rivers or Mosasaurus in big oceans as "bonus" hunting animals to prevent players from venturing into these areas for way too long, that would be great
If you turn Ultimasaurus's arms into wyvern-like wings and give it an axe-shaped clubbed tail, make it scream like a banshee, and color it sand-brown, it'll be the Diablos from Monster Hunter!
So happy to see the Gojirasaurus in the top spot, with its animations, model and lore I feel it definitely deserves its place! Also, not sure why, but I expected the Thunderbird to be higher on the list, just for the sheer size and mystery surrounding it, but yeah, that bugger is annoying to hunt. (Also, I don't think it's THAT biased that you put your own Mantellodon on the list, nothin' wrong in being a little proud of your work, no? .u. )
Agreed! I don't know if it lived up to everyone's expectations, but the Goji surpassed mine, I was very pleased. Well, as long as others don't think so, I guess I don't feel so bad for putting one of my own creatures on the list. xD
My favorite bonus animal has got to be Gojirasaurus from Carnivores - Triassic. While being a huge Godzilla fan, I really enjoyed seeing a creature resembling something similar to Godzilla in a Carnivores game. However, i'm really waiting for the possible bonus animal from Mandibles. With the Jaekelopterus being the largest creature on the Mandibles roster, I could imagine something that size would have taken down that Gojirasaurus. (unless it was a Jaekelopterus)
Hey Suarion, I have a video suggestion! Top 5 best Carnivores maps in all Carnivores mods and official games. The ultimate top 5 list! What do you think?
Good list saurian have to agree with the gorjirasaurus being first it is truly a monster it looks cool and has great animations and also when how bad Ass is it when it kills the hunter and stands over you doing that long amazing roar so cool I also love your mod I play it often because of how refreshing it is compared to some mods out there
Imo attempt should add plesiosaurs, ichthyosaurs and mosasaurs that you can hunt if you buy scuba gear from the weapons screen so you can go completely underwater for about 2 mins
Should make another carnivores corpation update, Pivot made huge additions! Bear traps, DinoHunt Corp. outposts you can interact with, carnivores soda, fallen dinosaur types (more coller skins), a ton new dinosaurs, dino bait, hazmat suit! You need to check it out!
I don't have any personal experience with Carnivores series mods, but I will say that the Godzilla-like dinosaur is the best looking one. It's big, dangerous, and it truly looks like something InGen would conjure up, even if it's un-canonically Dinohunt Corp's idea. As for the most terrifying one to hunt? Well, if we're talking realistically, (as in, if these things actually existed) It'd either be the Yeti, or that Godzilla-like monstrosity. As for being surprised at unlocking it? I'm not entirely sure if I remember unlocking the Yeti, due to how much of a challenge he was (and still is) to hunt. I never was really scared of him, it seems. The Yeti is more annoyingly difficult than scary, if you ask me.
If they were real, I'd say the Yeti would be the most terrifying for me personally. It's too close to human (plus apes kind of unsettle me anyway), I'd much rather face a Godzilla-dinosaur monster than something that close to a primate. Have you been able to hunt the Yeti on the mobile port? It's no longer challenging in the "I'm going to run away and you'll never see me again" sense, it's built more like a T.Rex now.
Yeah, the Yeti would certainly be something I'd really want to avoid encountering, if I were actually hunting on FMUV-32. As for the Yeti on the mobile port of Carnivores: Ice Age? I haven't touched the Ice Age port, or any of the ports, for that matter. They certainly a respectable amount of improvements over the original PC versions, but I just don't have much of a motivation to play them. I'm a PC player, and the controls of the mobile ports aren't exactly something to be admired. I'm glad that the rushed and poorly implemented Yeti got a proper A.I. programming in the mobile port, however.
Its gonna have to be the yeti cause in the mobile version *I dont have the pc version* cause even in observer mode me and my cousin were still afraid of it and its a classic creature thats been in the game for so long now
hey saurian, have you heard of the game mandibles? its carnivores but before the dinosaurs when pulmonoscorpius existed. basically carnivores but with bugs. (not the glitch kind)
The bonus animals are boss battles with much ratings!Gojirasurus isn't real in dinosaur period,it's just a dinohunt corp's creation and ultimate triassic sector nightmare!
Mods that are complete should be down in the second section, under the "Mods" section. Mods that are still being worked on are under "Mod Development."
I have a bugged gojirasaurus in the last version of carnivores Triassic. It moves like a crazy. When it runs, it do like walking. How to fix this.please
I'm planning on switching Divergent onto the Triassic engine, i would use the normal CIA, but the Gojirasaurus's AI is much more aggressive than the Yeti's.
I'm sorry but mantellodon does NOT look like a majestic creature, but more of a crack addicted iguana. That's not a bad thing, I think it's actually better than something that would match what you described lol
I like the fact that the Mantellodon is basically how people thought Iguanodon looked like when they first discovered their remains
Most dinosaurs on this list: *eats everything that moves*
King Julien: (chuckles) I’m in danger
Lol i get it
Cause he like to move it move it
I died
Carnivores Triassic: Where Kaiju are real and everything else is a lie
A perfect description.
Poharex Who would win in a fight, a Tyrannosaurus rex on some sort of radioactive steroids or some really big sea scorpion
Alex Hak chuck Norris...always bet on Chuck Norris 😝
Jake Sutton Chuck Norris loses a fight to Bruce Lee but kills a Gojirasaurus with his bare hands
T.rex, because that's the only thing keeping the really big sea scorpions from invading the Central Sector.
Saurian Target same though I'm only twelve and I didn't play the original but I got the same shock when I played it on mobile in 2011
Saurian Target Not just 'surprising' but 'VERY surprising'? Ooooh, now I'm intrigued...
Saurian Target would you link me to where the gojirasaurus ai patch is, I still have the buggy ai version. The version in which it will do it's roar evrytime I shoot it
my reaction to yeti "oh my god your joking right".
Saurian target when you said that one dino was the ultamite killing machine your wrong the gougeasourus is it deastroid an entire military base
Gojirasaurus is also the name of a real species of dinosaur, yet the real one was actually a small dinosaur, rather like ceolophysis (I'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong)
That's actually one of the reasons I chose Gojirasaurus as the name for the final animal.
Poharex I wonder what would happen if a real and a C:T Gojirasaurus met...
Oviraptor Fan the kaiju gojirasaurus would rip goirasaurus apart
the name of the Gojirasaurus is the name for japans monster Godzilla Gojira is the old name or Japanese name
That should be interesting :)
Maybe something like a red, three headed giganotosaurus with a tail club with spikes on it, and with giant devilish wings.
Im thinking, plague of madness style or night crawler style dino that starts actively hunting you after a short while
Or go full body horror, flesh melting, teratoma rittled, twisted dinosaur with a roar that sounds like the scream of a thousand damned

I love the final 2 for Carnivores: Mandibles, being the Giant sea scorpion and the initulus. Holy crap, just what could have killed the Gojirasaurus?
The final boss of mandibles must be the power of eighteen jaeklyopterus.......
it will be me next :)
Sandra Casas natural selection
Is it the Inutiilis? That's the final creature on Mandibles. I was wondering what the radioactive remains were as I have only played this mod, and Carnivores 2.
@@Grey_World1 thats why in the description its says endangered species

@James
I could, Although I'm pretty sure someone has made or tried to make a mod similar to that but I'm not sure

I've actually taken out the Thunderbird. And believe me, it wasn't easy. You need the scopped missle launcher and you need to be extremely close to kill it. Also, the Ultimasaurus is naked.... it's missing its back armor...
I wish the Ultimasaurus was the same colors as the toy... oh well, both problems can be solved by making a new skin for it.
I'm the only who thinks the gojirasaurus looks like Zilla jr of godzilla the series?
The design was based mainly on 1998 Zilla. It predates 2014 Godzilla by two years.
Also Godzillasaurus is already a thing in Godzilla vs King Ghidorah 1991

Gojirasaurus is one of my favorites, if you check my art topic in the forums, I redesigned him a bit to have more Godzilla like features.
I've seen your design. Love it!
I've seen it as well! It looks great!
I can't imagine Aliens (i know dinosaurs in carnivores are aliens but you know what i mean) in the Carnivores franchise. ._.
Just wait until Carnivores Genesis. ;)
yea they might be powerful and scary
but not as much as the randomly spawning allos

I knew my boy Gojirasaurus would make the #1 spot. It is carnivores's first weapon. And it worked well! Maybe to well...
the thunderbird look like a titan size microraptor (for me atleast)

Kaiju Slayer333 that's because it is
Whats the problem with the roar
I was extremely surprised with The Yeti lmao. i just had the feeling that it deserved to be in my trophy room. Like man killed the beast.
Ya know, there's actually a real dinosaur named Gojirasaurus(it's not nearly as menacing as the mod creature)

Gojirasaurus vs. Thunderbird, now that'd be an interesting battle. Maybe throw in a Yeti and the Ultimasaurus into the battle.
