Visited Kernow many times but cannot recall ever going to Polperro. It's on the bucket list now. Nice work guys. Nick on the bridge.

A really sunny day! It took us by surprise that it was so hot so early in the year. We really needed a bottle of water each on this walk! Sarah :)

We did a walk today that encompassed much of this walk although we did not start in Polperro - the route was Pelynt-Killigarth-Talland-Polperro-West Coombe-Lansallos-Polperro-Pelynt. We covered around 15 miles, much of it along the cliffs which are vertiginous in places especially in a gusty wind! And those 150 steps, wow! Heard the donging bell too.
Really love Polperro; the harbour, the scenery, the shops and the locals just make it so special. Being September it was not so busy as on our previous visits which made it more enjoyable. Can thoroughly recommend Polperro Bakery for sandwiches, pasties and cakes! We are eagerly awaiting your next video...

Sounds like you have had a fantastic day - the 150 steps was a real challenge on the day we went because it was so unexpectedly hot but what a sense of satisfaction and a glorious view to boot! We will be posting later this week - Mawnan Church and the search for the Cornish Nessie!

We have just watched this one again - lovely reminders of our walks to Polperro from Talland and can't wait to be back there next month on our annual pilgrimage to Cornwall. Think we will tag this walk on to a circular route we do from Pelynt. If you would like a challenge we think you should try west from Talland Bay on the coastal path! Thank you as always for another lovely video.

Yes, I would love to do more in that area, and I have found a couple of walks between Polperro and Looe so probably visit after peak season - really busy down here at mo! It's a fantastic walk and I hope you enjoy! :)

Hi Sarah & Andrew, today was our second visit to Polperro this week - it was the destination from Looe via the coastal path on Tuesday. Today we departed Crumplehorn, pickup up a pasties for John at Polperro Bakery and then took the coastal path to Polruan. Rather challenging (although we knew what to expect) in places, especially Raphael Cliff. We cheated on the way back though, using the lanes and a couple of footpaths that took us past Lansallos beautiful little church. Weather was fantastic, and we believe we could see from Devon down to the Lizard peninsular. The bell on the buoy was donging gently! We will have an easy half day in Looe tomorrow and then, sadly, back home!

I remember the walk well, although we came off the coastal path before Lansallos, near the day marker, very steep climbs. I think we must return, without the children, and find Lansallos church. I really want to cross the River Fowey on the Bodinnick Ferry - it's so cute! Have a lovely trip home and give the doggies a big hug from us, Sarah :)

I, my wife and our corgi pembroke "Timmi" would be happy to visit your place, but household chores do not allow to travel. But sometime wishes come true... Anatoli
