I have two of the B2 audio Rampage 15’s and love them! They handle way more then listed and sound absolutely great! Loud clean bass in the right enclosure! Great video MBE! 👍🏾👍🏾

Seismic Audio SA-LAF122 12" sub has a sensitivity rating of 91db. I bought one and built two different enclosures for it. I powered it with a Skar Audio RP1500. It was in the trunk of my 2015 Chrysler 300S. It sounded amazing. I built an L Port first but I just didn't care for the sound. It was tuned to 32 hz and it was 2.2 cubic feet. I then built a sealed enclosure at 1.8 cubic feet and I loved it. I'm just not a fan of the ported sound. It got plenty low and it was clean and loud. It cost me $150 off Amazon. I sold it to a friend cuz the box and the woofer was too heavy for my car. It's lowered and I live in LA where the potholes swallow F250's. I just got two American Bass XD1044'S. I still have the Skar RP1500. I gotta build a box for them. MBE!!! Love what you do man. Real recognize real. We happy for ya down here in the N.O. man!!! PEACE!!! ✌ ☮
Just for a little context, a number of 12" subs have a higher sensitivity rating like the seismic you mentioned, as it's not as difficult to achieve in that size platform & voice coil.(12's generally have a 2 1/2 in voice coil or larger) Pushing higher power levels through a smaller woofer chassis efficiently is a much greater engineering challenge. Most of the 8"s I've seen on this channel are considered pretty good between 80-84db, which is why he was impressed with this one being rated at 86db with a 2 in voicecoil.
I agree, B2 is not being pushed as hard in the US. And only 1 dealer/Distro I know is SHCA. And they are way to picky for small shops becoming dealers.
Yes,I have 2 of the skar 8's,the 900w.i also have the skar 2k pushing them in the armored skar boxes. I'm always getting asked (how many 15's do you have in there) love my skar 8's
They should be able to handle more than 1000 for sure. I have 2 groundzero 8in 20xspl rated at 700 but taking at least 1500 each powdered by 3k dc18 hooligan amp and without bottoming out like the 8in dc m3s I had before.

No they aren’t, they are 800, and these rampage 8s are 900 w rms, but these subs fuckin pound, I got one running on an excelon xr1001-1 at 1000w rms, 2000 peak, and the shit slams

@@jirismanns9049 only if they recommend around .5 cuft per sub, because the port will take up at least 1-1.5 cuft as well. MB will recommend only 2 subs to maximize the space. I have a 3 in. lift on my seat (2018 f150) and running 2 subs. He built my box and man it hits Low AF. I previously ran 4 CT Meso 8's in a 3 cuft. box and could not get it tuned low enough to listen to music i like. If you listen to music in the 40hz & up, then go with 4 and you'll still be happy.

Been looking forward to this.. I know about their mids and highs but nothing about their subs.. I am concerned about the displacement though.. .11 is a lot for an 8.. that more then most 12’s which come in around .07 +\-. But 86+ in an 8 that takes 1k.. there is potential here but this is hands down gears for spl.. But the displacement with other things tells me you got to throw these in a sealed box or have a massive ported box.. if you going with 8’s you are doing so cause you don’t have the space.. I se these needing a box similar to a 10 and some 12’s so it’s kinda a sub looking to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. Why out a single 8 in a box thar could hold two 12’s? Just doesn’t make sense to me.. Seem to be spl comp only type design based on everything. Now fs of 38 will help it some for box size in sq applications.. as will the efficiency.. but no where near enough to justify the price, displacement and power levels.. No doubt it bangs but I’d take a lot of others not as good for less where I can double them up in same size box and same power as a single.. cone area is king and they seemed to forget this building this sub..
Fs is actually 36 Hz. The space it takes up is based on external dimensions. However if you look at the SAFT basket, it has a good flow of air and is an open design. So the displacement is actually less.
That sub looks like an 8 on steroids lol a few months ago I was thinking about getting a pair of those but we’re I live at I have some sensitive ass neighbors that call the cops for everything.
