      Depends what sort of prep is required. Anywhere from $10-$11.50 a square foot. I'm in Canada though so that works out to about $8-$9 US if you're in the states.

    So i was just wondering once this product is laid what is the expectant life of the product? During summer here we regularly reach temperatures in the 40+ degrees celsius range so how hot would the rubber compound get and would the rubber compound survive those temperatures?

    where are you guys from? why poor the liquid into a bucket first then into the wheelbarrow, wouldn't it save a step as well as residual buy going from can to wheelbarrow? wouldn't it be much easier to use a concrete hoe rather than a spade shovel?

    • @sandroforte1521

      squacher Our binder ships out in 5 gal and 1 gal pails, therefore it was necessary to supply a measurement systems to ensure our clients have accurate measurements. Most people have a shovel and wheel barrow on hand, this is why it is shown in our video. BUT a hoe would work as well. Thank you for your comments.

    Please do a video on removing it. I bought a house 6 years ago and I liked the rubber deck because we have a pile of grand kids and I have a bad back. Four years ago I began to hate it.. Keeping it clean is IMPOSSIBLE and now the RED is burning through to the BLACK inside.. So the BLACK is leaving everyone's feet black and when anyone goes into the pool they make black foot prints everywhere inside our white pool!!!! So PLEASE tell me how to remove this stuff so we can enjoy our pool and deck once again...

    • @TheRubberDepot
      @TheRubberDepot  8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Steve 1961P. Hello Steve, Unfortunately the company who installed your surface used recycled Rubber with a colored binder. We do not recommend this type of rubber for around pools due to the very reason you have mentioned. Our Rubber Is 100% EPDM, and is mixed with a clear binder. The color is UV stable and will not come off.

      I guess check a corner with a knife, Find the depth and using the depth gauge, Maybe run a circular saw across the surface in a grid pattern, And then a sharpen putty knife to lift up the squares, You have got a job on there !

    Why would you pour the urethane from it’s metal paint can to a 5 gallon bucket and then dump that immediately into the wheelbarrow where you mix it in with the rubber granules? That makes NO SENSE! Dump the urethane from the paint can directly into the wheelbarrow.
