Ben's highs have been getting better and better and no one talks about it, I can't wait for the studio version, this might be some of their absolute best work, I need it now.
Went to both Ireland shows whilst I was on holiday and man this song is great. Was hoping to hear The Migrant but hearing a new unreleased one instead was a treat.
I would guess they release this song soon and once they finish this tour they shoot a music video or two and drop the album. Probably gonna be awhile unfortunately
@@darkseidiss3npai251I mean it's not same sacred thing, agreed. I just haven't seen anyone else do it live personally, so it's the first example that came to mind.
Yeah, I wonder back in the day he had a little weight on em, then he got hella skinny now he put it back on hope he is all good sometimes that can be a sign of stress, but also sometimes people really fluctuate a lot like that, but this has been over time so it doesn’t seem super fast and drastic back and forth. Luckily metal isn’t a fashion show.
Have you not heard Melancholy and Elegy? Those are SOI’s strongest albums and they don’t have any breakdowns in the same style as this one. Primordial and Reclaimer are weak albums, imo, but to be fair I’m not a deathcore guy, I’m a Death/Thrash guy and Melancholy and Elegy scratch an itch for me that the other albums don’t
@@darkseidiss3npai251 Agreed that Melancholy is their strongest album. Primordial isn't for me and Reclaimer has some true gems but overall too core-y for me as well. Elegy was a bit too simplistic for me. Anyway, Dirge of the Void literally has this exact same breakdown style as its intro
I’m talking about the final breakdown in this new song. The other breakdown moments sound good and have a nice groove to them, but the ending one feels out of place and too abrupt imo. I’ll save my final judgements for the studio version but at least from what I’m hearing now it kinda has me worried
New Shadow is imminent! Cant wait to hear the studio version!
I'm actually convinced this is one of the best SoI songs I've ever heard now. I've heard it maybe 20 times by now.
Dude sounds so dope. Like from the Reclaimer or primordial albums
@@lukegeiger7328 yeah exactly, not just reclaimer but also primordial.
First going to see them in September. I am beyond fucking stocked
My favorite band and vocalist and that new song is probably gonna be my new fav of theirs 🔥🤘🏻🤌🏻
This band is so fucking ridiculously talented. Every single member is so fucking good. If this album comes out this year it will be my AOTY easy.
Been waiting for this, thank you for the footage, amazing performance, my favorite band of all time

I need the new album asap. This track is sick!
Ben is so sick, the whole crew is amazing, I just love seeing members really into their songs even though it can be tiring.
This sounds great thanks 🤘. Now to wait for Spotify release
Hopefully SOI releases this soon.

I reeeeally hope a new album is coming soon

I’m waiting for this band to blow up like Lorna Shore with stuff like this

Aaaaaaahhhhhhh🎉
02:55 love to see ben having fun like that, kinda like david from SOTS does on the breakdown on ATLAE.
That’s been a common thing in hardcore and death metal way before the SOTS vocalist started doing it lol
@@darkseidiss3npai251I mean it's not same sacred thing, agreed. I just haven't seen anyone else do it live personally, so it's the first example that came to mind.
Does Wiseman have long hair again!?
Just seen this live in belfast and fuck me its hot
WHEN IS THIS RELEASING???
Who. Is. The. Vocalists!? IS THAT BEN?

Dang. Is Ben putting on a little weight?
Dad bod. Literally.

A little sympathy weight is to be expected lol

Bruh, not a very nice way to say it.
Not sure how I feel about that final breakdown, not my vibe. Rest of the song sounds promising, though
You’re not my vibe! 🥺 how dare you lol.
What do you mean not your style, this is the kind of breakdown they've been playing since 2016. Are you new?
