- It's not all massive classic car restoration projects in the workshop, we get times where all the little jobs have to be done and this is one of those SUPER BUSY weeks! In this episode you'll see us go through lots of different jobs, from repairing crash damaged panels from a Honda VFR 800 VTEC, undersealing the Mk3 Ford Escort RS1600i, chassis and rust repairs on a MK1 MX5, MOT testing, fixing parking scuffs on BMW Mini Cooper paintwork and lots more. Did you use anything to spread the load when slide hammering the mx5 rail?
What was the slide hammer pulling against?
Recently I was watching a Short from the ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil Club). Topic: Wipe away sun cream finger prints from your car paint immediately or it will stay there forver. I bought my red Citroên C1 with such finger prints and now I know the origin. What can I do to remove such persistent finger prints? I tried polishing with normal polish, I used propanol, break cleaner... nothing. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks for the video, Lewis, LeAnn and Mo. Interesting and soothing - as always.
