    Stop entertaining a man after he has showed you who he is and it isn’t marriage minded and he doesn’t truly serve the Lord. You are just waisting your precious time.

    I feel like my mom raised me to get a man.. I remember my dad cheating on her going out of town and one night she left home to go catch him cheating.. One time she told me all men cheat.. But she would give my dad sex every time he came home he even gave her an STD.. She still fooled with him. But I have learned to become a woman on my own lately .. By watching tony I've learned it is okay to be alone and love myself before looking for love in all the wrong places.. I had to learn the hard way with my child's father and ever since I left him I have found this new me and she loves herself unconditionally and she loves God even more..

      That's a blessing. Thanks for sharing your testimony. Unfortunately there is a generational curse over most families/women. They are taught to look for love outwardly, and at times they are taught to do any and everything to get and keep a man so to speak. It is a blessing that you are choosing to fight. So that you can end this generational curse in Jesus name.

    I was married for 11 months and my husband was deathly sick for all of those 11 months. we couldn't have date nights, or be intimate with each other ( in that way). All we could do was lay in the bed and talk to each other, and it didn't matter. It didn't stop our love of each other. It didn't stop me from working 40 hours a week to make sure he had health insurance, and spending the weekends sleeping in the chair next to his hospital bed. The lack of sex didn't stop me from holding his hand and praying for him as he took his last breath.

    He's not lying! I was doing all that for my ex-husband cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids, working a full time job like he do and going to school. The more I did the more he complained and the less he did. I found myself crying in my bathroom. He just looked at me and said he doesn't know what to do about me crying. I talked to him calmy about what I needed for him. He would change for about two weeks, then back to himself. We went marriage counseling three times. I had enough and filed for divorce and got my peace.

    • @Nekole1
      @Nekole1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      Wow you were doing way to much and being to giving. Sad to say, men take advantage of that. Even in marriage, they get comfortable and you have to keep them on their toes. It sounds like you were a mule. I hate to see black women working and doing everything for the household and the man is not contributing. He is a burden get rid of his behind and do not look back. When he see that you do not give a damb then he will straighten up but just having those talks and forcing convo NEVER work on men especially black men. Many of them only look out for self.

      He was a narcissist. I know a lot of people say that is an overly used. But that is the truth. You did yourself a favor. Try to go little to no contact with him. Even if you all have children that are coming up. For your sanity and peace. Stay little to no contact with him. With his mentality. He will be more damaging to keep him in your children's lives on a regular.

    Show a man how much you love God by doing what God’s Word says, instead of trying to please him! Show him how much you love God❤️ , so he knows how much you love him! I don’t know about the rest of these ladies, but I’m in waiting for a man of God! If he is looking for a Godly woman he wants to know how well her prayer life is, how obedient she is to Christ, how much work is she doing for the Lord: cooking, cleaning are other aspects that are important, but “relationship” with the Creator is the most important! So many Christian women fail trying to please the creation over the CREATOR!

And I affirm that I will marry a man who doesn't expect me to be stressed out dealing with everyday chores. This is how most women live these days. Why are we expected to spread ourselves so thin that we're feel like we're gonna have a mental breakdown? To tell you the truth this is exactly how I thought until I started watching your videos.

    During quarantine I have been teaching myself to cook because my family would make fun of me. I have had my fourteen year old little sister help me. Last week I sent some pound cake and some fudge Blondie's to my older sister and her family. An hour after leaving there my older sister texted me and said her fiance said that I can get a man cooking like that. It made me laugh. Then I was like I'm not going to hold on to that because it was just a compliment. I had to remind myself that I was cooking for myself. I didn't tell my little sister what he said because I know that she pays attention to everything I say. Instead I told her again that I want her to be able to take care of herself. I think watching you has changed the way I think. Last year I probably would have been on clouds for weeks after that compliment. I have to stay focused.

As the 'single aunty' to my nephew I make more an effort to pay attention to my behavior to set a good example, my nephew, 15, looks up to everything that I do. Now that I'm in this path and watching TG the single aunty status has a whole new meaning. You are an amazing big sister and I'm glad you didn't share that problematic comment. Be blessed.

    Finally someone who is saying what i known since a child. My own father said to me " no man is ever going to want you". This is cause i used my mind and told him he was no man by the way he treated my mom. Woman need to stop buying their little girls baby dolls, little kitchens, easy bake ovens. The world teaches little girls its a mans world when its not. Start talking to your daughter that they will always have you so if she needs to come home she can. Teach her to earn her self in this world and if a man wants a piece of it he got to earn her. Teach her that her body is the most precious clean beautiful temple that God gave her to be held for her husband. A boyfriend is not a commitment to anything!! Boyfriend is a mans trick to a woman by taking a space away from two words. Show them : boyfriend - boy friend!!! How does a missing space allow him to have your body now husband is a whole different word. All these weak men have called me prude, stuck up and told more than once that i value my kitty to high. What?? You dont even know my last name?? Ive never have felt so proud!!! I decided to think like i was that young girl again who defended my mom. Now im defending myself!!

    Lol my ears perked up when you said that 9 out of 10 women teach they daughters to cook to get a man 😂 Tony...maybe this last generation but my generation (the millenial generation. I was born in 88) we teaching our all our children SELF SUFFICIENCY, boys and girls. Lol most of us aren't thinking about a man when we teaching our daughters and we damn sure aren't pushing gender roles. I teach my daughter FEMININITY and that has nothing to do with a man, that's about who she is. She's 7 and loves cooking (with me) and gardening. My 11 year old son is actually the cook of the family. He shops and cooks full meals believe it or not haha they daddy on the other hand...we only safe with BBQ 🤣

      Yes definitely focused on femininity with my daughter, like don't wear open toe sandals and not have your toe polish ratchet! (OMG), along with teaching her how to cook which did not happen until her early twenties, and my son's cook BETTER than my daughter.. lol

      @@Newladyn09 Not gone lie, I tried to go to the Home Depot YESTERDAY with sandals and some busted ass toes (just a quick run to grab some bug spray)💀💀 my daughter noticed right away! Lmao she was like "Uhhh, just take that polish off mom" 😂😂😂 but its gel from before the lockdown 🤷🏾‍♀️ then she goes on and on about how she never seen my toes and nails like this lmfao so I took that moment to teach her not to judge others 💀...but I did put on some sneakers tho 😭😭😭

    I'm okay being single after I gave my all to 2 failed marriages. Only to be left and cheated on with another woman. I was the traditional wife cooked, cleaned, blah blah blah. None of that keeps a man who don't want to be kept. It's always a women in the bushes waiting patiently for the chance to be next.🤷🏽‍♀️

    Tony is preaching the truth! I’m so tired of these thirsty men wanting to take advantage of us queens. A lot of men take advantage of everything a good woman brings to the table. They are definitely grown boys and need to learn how to treat a real one. For real! Thank you Tony for this message. Be blessed 🙏🏽

    So true! Loyalty and honesty. Yes, you gotta have someone who will love you unconditionally(loyalty) and be able to trust that person with your whole heartand life(honesty). May I add communication because if there's no healthy communication than that person has emotional issues that need to be addressed.

    Hey Tony a few months ago I was going through a lot I was so depressed until I came upon ur videos and began to pray more and harder I am now finding my peace. I was engaged about to be married until he broke down and walk out saying he needs his space...I was so in love with this man know its my first time I ever loved a man like this...I always have my guards up but for some reason I let it down for him...after he left I felt like I was nobody I cant do with out him...and let me tell u the man up about hold my hand and took me through the fire....instead of asking him to take me out, i asked him to walk with me through it..but eventually I broke it off eventhough I broke it off I was still around just thinking the maybe but now I put my trust in God and honestly I do not want a man in my life when is the right time God will place him in my life...I just want to say to many ladies out there the war is not with flesh and blood but of the spiritual realm pick up ur harmor and go to war...do not let the devil break you have a bless day.

  • @mekaw0
    @mekaw0 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    This was real talk from the beginning to the end. I always wondered was a man capable of understanding any of this. It's sobering to see a man say this so we can clearly see that it is selfishness and immaturity that causes a man to treat a woman like a servant. Let's wise up and rise up women! We deserve better but won't get it if we settle for less...
